Known for his power and honor yet he is a man of a few words. He rarely attends public events in the capital unless it is related to the knighthood (as he is the head of the kingdom's military affairs). He is a busy man but today he had the time for his daughter.

I looked at my father, who was quietly eating his steak. I am glad he is able to eat warm food. Being always on-the-go, the Duke only eats his packed meals in the carriage.
"What is it, my dear Zen?" He looks at me lovingly.
I smiled warmly. It has been a long time since I heard that nickname. Only my family calls me that. They're mostly away from home though. Aside from my busy father, my old brother Roux is in the Academy (at the Capital), while my mother, is back in her hometown for the time being.
"Nothing father. I'm just happy you are here with me."
It was a pleasant meal. Exchanging a few words with my father made me very happy. Afterall, our family is known as the 'silent nobles'. We were always the quiet ones, with the exception of my mother, but because she rarely appears in public, we were still branded as such. The advantage though, we haven't had any scandals or issues within the family and with the kingdom as well. Let's just say, we are a peaceful family. Besides we are living in the northernmost part of the kingdom, secluded from the rest.
