The Aftermath Part 1

3 Person POV:
The ten demigods stared at the black screen waiting to see which horrible memory of Nico's they would have to watch next. But it didn't come the screen remained black then a shimmering light filled the room and a the goddess Hera came with it.

Nico stood up from the couch "have I for-filled my end of the bargain now" he asked bitterly "yes you have held up your end of the agreement" she answered. The shimmering goddess snapped her fingers the TV and two couches vanished and the door unlocked.

Hera vanished seconds later Nico ran out of cabin three as fast as he could, he didn't stop till he had to catch his breath he hadn't even realized where he'd run to. He was deep in the woods of camp half blood the part where monsters lingered waiting for unsuspecting demigods.

Nico punched a tree his emotions taking over his body tears formed in his onyx eyes again he had been humiliated in front of the people he cared about. Nico quickly snapped back to reality when he heard voices calling his name they were looking for him.

Nico didn't want to face his friend's not after what they had seen Nico took in a few deep breaths to clam himself down "NICO" he heard Jason's voice yell. Jason was close to finding him but not for long he stepped into the shadow of one trees and dissolved into the darkness.

Nico emerged from the darkness on the roof of an abandoned building in Manhattan then he did something that Will Solace would not of approved of. He summoned a ghost it bowed to Nico "what services of mine do you require, Ghost King" the ghost asked.

"I need you to deliver the same message as before to the same person" he explained the ghost nodded and dissolved he knew that the ghost would deliver his message. Nico soon began to realize how much of his strength he had used to shadow travel and summon the ghost.

Darkness clouded Nico's vision as he passed out on the roof of the abandoned building.

Nico woke up on the roof of the abandoned building in Manhattan he wasn't sure how long he had been asleep for but he could tell that he needed get something to eat and drink. He climbed down the ladder that was attached to the side of the building and walked out of the alleyway.

He walked down the sidewalk until he saw a coffee shop he walked inside and ordered a black coffee and a bagel, he sat at the table furthest from the window to wait for his coffee and bagel. "My lord" a ghost said Nico had nearly jumped out of his seat but he managed to regain his composure "yes" Nico asked.

"It wasn't easy but I managed to track her down and deliver your message she said that she would meet you there at midnight tonight" the ghost answered. "Thank you, you are dismissed" Nico told him, the ghost dissolved like he had never even been there in the first place.

A waitress brought over his coffee and bagel Nico thanked her then he saw the date on one of the TV in the cafe it was Friday he had left camp half blood on Tuesday. Nico had been passed out on that roof for nearly four days, he contemplated his next move he couldn't go back to camp half blood.

He definitely couldn't go to camp Jupiter which left Nico with only two options one of which he was meeting at midnight, he finished his coffee and bagel he left a twenty on the table and walked out of the cafe. Nico walked down the sidewalk hands in his pockets and lost in thought until he ran into someone.

"Sorry wasn't watching where I was going" he said then he realized that it was someone he knew Sally Jackson "Nico, what are you doing so far from camp" she asked. "Um I'm just out sightseeing" he answered she clearly didn't believe him "Nico are you in trouble"?

"No I'm fine anyways I need to get going" he ran into an alley to hide off the people in Manhattan he had run into her he listened as she dialled a number on her phone. "Percy, I just ran into your friend Nico walking down the sidewalk I think he might be in trouble" then their was a long pause.

"It was about a minute ago Percy, Percy fine hang up on me I'm only your mother" she said Nico waited till she walked down the street to look for him then he started running again. He didn't stop till he reached Central Park, he paused to catch his breath when he saw a large shadow form in front of him.

It was Miss O,Leary and standing next to her was none other than Percy Jackson, Percy's eyes caught sight of him "Nico" he said. Nico knew his only chance for escape was, the underworld Nico bolted towards the entrance as Miss O,Leary bounded after him Percy was following close behind.

Miss O,Leary ran down into the entrance to the underworld in front of him finally Nico managed to run inside "Nico wait" Percy yelled still running after him. Nico raised his hands and with all the strength he had left he closed off the entrance to the underworld.
