Note: This chapter will be one where there is no defined point of view. It will be a narrated chapter because of the many different people, thoughts, and emotions. When a name is in bold, it will mean that the character is the main focus of that part.  Thx, JKH

Colton

Emma's dad and brother are sitting with Colton and the babies, Gannon and Jude. The three men are talking about Emma Lou and her precious relationship. Colton is has never been more confused about someone cheating and ruining their relationship.

'Emma is perfect. How could a man be so stupid to let her get away from him?' Colton's thoughts run rampant and he tries to stay present in the conversation.

"Rhett, you remember when Britt got pregnant with these little heathens?"

Colton is drawn back into the conversation by Lance, Emma's father.

"Yeah. I'd never seen my baby sister experience sadness and extreme happiness at the same time," Rhett says, remembering the look on his younger sister's face when she found out about the babies.

"Why was she sad?" Colton asks, feeling more confused than before.

"She had gotten pregnant at the same time as Britt. She would've had the baby too if it wasn't for a stalker. She never told that Haze guy and she never plans on it," Rhett says, innocently. He doesn't know that there is a reporter around the corner, recording the conversation.

As the conversation finishes, Colton remembers Emma's statement from the stage. He dismisses himself, feeling conflicted and unbelieving of the story that Rhett just told him. As he reaches the beauty's tour bus, he prepares himself to act oblivious and happy. He performs perfectly until the girl begins to explain why her faith in men withered.

Colton promises himself that he will restore her faith in men. He knows he has to make this date that she has agreed to give him absolutely amazing. He goes back to his tour bus, a real smile on his face and a happy heart. The cowboy immediately begins planning a date that will for sure make Emma Lou forget about all the hurt she's felt before.

Haze Collins & Kyra Freeman

As Haze wakes up next to a girl, who's name he has forgotten, he vaguely remembers having to be on set at ten o'clock. He drags himself out of the strange girl's bed and gathers his clothes, putting them on and walking out to his vehicle. As he nears, he sees a white piece of paper on his windshield.

The paper, which looks rather battered and crumpled, has a scribbled note on it. As he reads it, he almost passes out.

'Emma Lou Mayfield was pregnant with your child. She aborted it and never let you have knowledge of it. Are you gonna let the snobby bitch get away with it?'

Haze crumples the paper in his clenched fist and rushes to his agent's office.

"Get me a god damn ticket to wherever that fucking tour is next! That bitch won't get away with killing my child!"

"Sir?" Abigail stammers and attempts to make sense of what her client is saying.

"Get me a ticket to our beloved Emma's next tour date. Now, Gail."

As Haze is screaming at his agent, his girlfriend is on set getting pissed because her boyfriend is not showing up for work. She continually calls him and when his phone is finally answered, Abigail tells her what is going on.
