After the rodeo, Colton and I talked about the whole dating rumor and decided that we would make it extremely clear that we're just friends. Our publicists immediately accepted and got to work to dispel the dating rumors. Adelaide and I took a bunch of pictures together and we went shopping the day after the rodeo.
Colton texted me last night telling me that his manager said they're extending the tour and starting it earlier than planned. Tim called me an hour ago telling me I have to be back in Nashville by five o'clock this afternoon. I packed my bag and sat down for breakfast. I reluctantly handed my family the passes for the concert and hug them goodbye.
"Bye bye, Auntie Em" the twins say to me and hug me when I squat down to their level.
"Bye bye, babies," I look up at my family, "I guess I'll see y'all tomorrow night."
I kiss Dad's cheek and hug Momma before walking out to my truck and climbing it. I roll my window down as I'm going down the driveway and wave. I see them wave back in the rear-view and oull out of the driveway and head back to Nashville

"Emma Lou! You have sound check in a hour. You have time to go drop your stuff off at your house and get back," Tim calls and tells me just before I reach the suburbs.
I smile and turn on my road. When I reach my driveway, I stop and grab the mail and drive up to my house. Just the sight of my white barndominium, I break out in a smile. I've missed this place.
I originally bought it as a vacation home to get a break from the Hollywood rat race. The neighbors are very wealthy ranchers, who were happy to have me and hide the fact that I own the house. I pull my truck into the car shed and grab my bags, taking them into my house.
When I reach the door, I set one of my bags down and unlock the door. I push it open and walk into the small mud room. I walk to the back of the house, into the living room and upstairs, down the short hallway and into my bedroom.
My phone rings as I walk into my closet and I answer.
"There's an interview set up for you and Colton after sound check," Tim says as soon as I put the phone to my ear.
"Okay, I'll wear something that isn't leggings and a tee," I tell him and her him sigh
"Sorry for the last minute notice, EL."
"Nah, it's fine. I gotta get ready. Bye, Timmy."
I hang up after hearing him take a deep breath, ready to tell me how his name is Tim and I can't call him Timmy. I find a floral dress and I quickly change clothes and put on a barely noticeable amount of makeup. I plop a dark brown hat on my head and take a deep breath and jog downstairs.
