Chapter 12

I cannot believe that happened tonight. It has been crazy.
After all the dramatics of tonight, Jo walks me up to my room. "Hero, I'm tired so we will talk tomorrow."
"You can stay in my room?" I really want her to stay with me tonight. I need someone to comfort me.
"Yes, okay." I unlock the door as she steps inside. She slips her shoes off and heads into the bedroom. She looks beautiful.
"You can wear my t-shirt to bed." I say, when i step inside of the room.
"Okay." She says in a timid voice. I can tell she is tired.

Once we are all ready for bed and in bed Jo cuddles up to me, something i wasn't expecting. "You really scared me tonight." She says looking up at me.
"I'm sorry, I think i just felt really emotional."
"Yes, but i'm here for you." She says while playing with my fingers. It feels nice to have her sitting here with me.
We pretty much go straight to sleep after that.

The next morning, I get up quietly not wanting to wake Jo. Luckily, today is Sunday so we don't have to go into work.
A few minutes later, Jo walks into the kitchen. "Hey." She says. She looks much happier this morning.
"Hey." I reply.
"I think we should talk about what we are going to do about us." She says.
"Yes, well it depends what you wanna do."
"Well, I think that we should go on some dates and see how it goes?" She says while picking her finger nails.
"Yeah, okay." Is all i can say. I am so happy that me and Jo are trying this out. I just wish it would go faster, but i don't want to make her uncomfortable.
