Episode 10 - Dive In

A male voice goes "how much are we talking about here?" a familiar voice says "millions, listen, Mr-" the voice then says "Chris, Chris Vallance" the familiar voice then says "Mr Vallance, implant these AI chips into your cleaners nationwide, and they will work perfectly, trust me".
Inside a room inside Vallance Industries, Chris stands holding an AI chip, and The Master stands in front of him smiling. Chris then says "how do I know you're telling the truth?" The Master then laughs "test it out yourself". Chris then looks over at a Cleaner, it's half the size of a Golf Buggy.
Chris then presses onto the top of the Cleaner, where a compartment opens, Chris then puts the AI chip inside the Cleaner and he then closes the compartment.
A red light then light's up, indicating eyes.
Chris looks at The Master, The Master nods at him. Chris then looks back at the Cleaner and says "clean my office". The Cleaner turns and looks at The Master, then back at Chris and a robotic voice then says "clean office, affirmative".
The Cleaner then starts to clean up the office, cleaning the windows, changing the bin.
Chris stands there smiling and he looks at The Master "what was your name?" The Master smiles at him, Chris stares at him and he then says "millions you said? So how much are you wanting in return?". The Master shakes his head "no money, just know that when the time comes, you've done a great job". Chris then smiles at him "millions for me? Then I'll accept" The Master smiles.

(Doctor Who Title Sequence)

Around a table, Maya, Todd, Emma and Greg sit together eating toast. Maya smiles at Greg.
The Doctor then walks over to them, Maya looks up and she smiles "sleep well in a normal bed?" The Doctor nods "yeah, it was actually pretty comfy" Maya smiles at him "here, have some breakfast" The Doctor smiles "ah-". The Doctor sits beside Emma, and he looks at her "I love toast" Emma smiles at him "you're The Doctor!" The Doctor smiles at her "yeah, I am".
Todd then says "Maya told us some stories, she won't tell us everything, but she travelled with you?" The Doctor stares at him until Maya says "yeah, travelled around the country, saw amazing things" The Doctor nods "yeah, we did" Greg looks at The Doctor "come on, eat up".
Later on, Karla and Frank walk into the house holding a massive box.
Maya stands up "mum? What is that?" Karla then smiles "well, I was going to keep it away and have it a family Christmas present but I decided that I think we'll open it now.
The Doctor, Maya, Greg, Todd, Emma, Karla and Frank stand around the box.
Frank then says "ready?" The Doctor looks at him cautiously.
Frank then opens up the box, revealing a Cleaner.
The Doctor then stares at it. Emma starts to laugh as she pokes the Cleaner.
Karla says "they released it a few days ago, it's completely AI, you tell it what to clean and it does it" The Doctor nods at her "does it really?" Maya looks at The Doctor "what's wrong with that?" The Doctor shakes his head "nothing, just saying is all...I'd be careful...very careful".
Frank then looks at an instruction manual and he then says "right...the on button is-".
Frank then presses a button, and the Cleaner lights up red.
The Doctor pulls his sonic screwdriver out until Karla says "clean up the kitchen".
The Cleaner looks at Karla and then says in its robotic voice "clean kitchen, affirmative".
The Doctor watches the Cleaner moving towards the kitchen and he sighs.
The Doctor then says "be careful with AI, you never know if they understand a command".

(Commercial Break)

On the TV, a news reporter stands outside a house and says "just five hours after their initial release, Vallance Industries' revolutionary Cleaners have seemed to malfunction, as in this home behind me, the homeowner was one of the first to purchase a Cleaner, and was later murdered by it, Vallance Industries has apologised to the family, offering them thousands of compensation money, Vallance Industries is currently looking into the death, but has said this is a one-off malfunction, thank you for listening, more updates are sure to be followed up later today".
The Doctor then turns off the TV and he nods "I knew it-" Maya then sighs "they said it was a one-off malfunction-" The Doctor then turns to Maya and says "this kind of things is too advanced for your planet, someday you'll have robots, but not yet, this kind of thing...it's alien, I can just feel it, something inside me can just tell it's wrong" Maya then sighs, The Doctor stares at her "what?" Maya then says "I never told Todd about us, about the aliens, because I thought he'd think I'm mad, I wanted to get away from this life, it was amazing, but it was heartbreaking" The Doctor stares at her "I know, I'm sorry" Maya then looks at Emma, who is sat playing with Greg and Todd. Maya then turns to The Doctor "let's go" The Doctor stares at her "where?".
As Maya grabs her coat, she then looks at The Doctor "to Vallance Industries, I know you want too" The Doctor smiles at her "alright then". Maya looks over at Greg and Todd "we'll be back soon". Greg looks at her "want me to come?" Maya then says "best you stay here, keep an eye on that Cleaner" Greg nods at her and The Doctor "be careful" The Doctor smiles at him "we will".
As The Doctor and Maya leave, Todd sits there looking at the door, he then turns to Greg and says "so? You gonna tell me?" Greg smiles at him "what do you mean?" Todd then says "The Doctor, who's he really? Something's really off about that man, who is he? Where's he from?".
Behind Greg and Todd, the Cleaner stops, and it turns around, looking at them both.
Outside, in the back garden, Karla and Frank both sit together sunbathing.
Karla then looks at Frank "what do you think about The Doctor being back?" Frank looks at her "I'm glad, I really am" Karla nods at him and she smiles "me too" Frank smiles at her.
