smiling, a young man with dark hair and bright blue eyes sneakily comes up behind a brown haired young woman that was staring off into nothing. he made to tap her shoulder and scare her, but she turned around with a smirk before he could do so, exclaiming, "boo!"

he let out a small, barely audible yelp at her surprising him, making the girl double over in amused laughter. waiting for her to reign in her laughter, the young man rolls his eyes playfully.

"how do you always do that? i can never get the drop on you."

recovering from her laughing fit, the young woman just smirks knowingly and loops their arms together.

"that's a secret for another time, my love. now, i have to say, that uniform looks quite dashing on you. so dashing, that i might just have to eat you up," she says, a glint in her eyes that made him chuckle and squeeze her arm in his grip.

"i'm afraid that's my job, doll."

scoffing, the shorter brunette sends him a light glare and shoved at his arm.

"you're awfully confident. anyways, i'm guessing those papers you're hiding from me are your new orders?" the question makes him stiffen, and the man lets out a sigh as they stop near an alley.

smirking tightly at her, he pulls her into his arms and says, "you always have been able to tell what's on my mind."

she smiles, playfully hitting his chest. "that's because you make it so easy. where are you getting sent to, and how long do they say you'll be there?"

the dark haired man easily picked up on her word choice, letting out a sigh at it. 'how long do they say' were the words that bothered both of them the most

"i'm heading out to europe soon. i don't know how long i'll be gone, but i'll send you as many letters as i can as long as you write back, love."

she rolls her eyes, leaning into his embrace and smiling.

"that's my line, beautiful."

"then stop stealing all of mine, doll."

the next words she dared utter were murmured into his ear in a low voice, her heavy accent dripping from each word as his spine shivered at the feeling of her lips on his ear. he let out a low groan at the feeling, eyes widening when she bit his ear lightly.

she moved away from him, smiling cheekily while taking his hand in hers and leading him out of the alley. only a few passerby bothered to take a glance at the couple that just randomly came out of an alley, but they ultimately moved on with their own lives and ignored the two.

"doll, you really need to stop doing these kinds of things to me," he pleads, bright eyes dark, and her smirk only continues to do things to him. he wanted to pin her to nearest wall and ruin her perfectly painted cherry red lips, but he knew better than to do it in public.

"whatever you say, beautiful."
