Leorio, Kurapika, Gon and Y/n had finally arrived at Zaban city, with their navigator helping them to the exam site everything should be fine, though after the Kiriko's help with transportation to the city Y/n had to ask where the bathroom was first 

"I'm very sorry" Y/n had uttered as his head was in a toilet bowl

"It's okay, Leorio had these Aspirin in his bag so this should be good for you" Kurapika assured as he rubbed Y/n's back for comfort

After a couple of minutes the two boys finally came out of the toilet to be greeted by a worried Gon and a grumpy Leorio

"Are you okay now Y/n?" Gon asked Y/n who scratched the back of his head in embarrassment 

"Yeah I'm fine, we should get going now...sorry guys" Y/n apologized as the navigator assured them that they weren't late 

As the four were being guided to the exam site Gon, Y/n kept getting distracted by the city stalls, Y/n kept getting side tracked by the jewelry and books they had while Gon was distracted by the exotic foods

"This is our latest arrival so if you buy this now there's a 30% discount!" The clerk on the stall Y/n and Gon was in announced making the two boys awed at the design of the jewelry

"Come get your panda frog on a stick! Who wants a taste?" Another clerk on the stall Y/n and Gon was in announced making Y/n very curious as to what it tastes like 

"Can I have these two on the go?" Y/n stated as he pulled out his wallet to pay for the two panda frog sticks

"Enjoy!" The clerk happily said as he handed over the delicacies to Y/n 

Y/n took one stick and gave the other one to Gon who was startled but eventually end up eating the snack Y/n bought for him, the two shared a small laugh as they bit into the food

"Thanks for buying me one Y/n" Gon thanked Y/n as they walk through the busy stalls

"No problem, I didn't want to be alone to try and taste this exotic snack" Y/n shared as the two laughed about how the food tasted weird but good at the same time

"Hey! will you two hurry up!" Leorio shouted to the two boys making Kurapika notice how they both were laughing while sharing a snack, Kurapika couldn't help but frown at the sight of those two

"Wait. Why am I like this?" Kurapika thought to himself shrugging it off as they continued walking, ignoring what the navigator has to say Kurapika glanced over to the two who were still munching on the food

In that second Kurapika had wished that Y/n gave the other snack to him instead of Gon, Y/n noticed that Kurapika was glancing at them for a second making Y/n smile, He walked closer to Kurapika as he offered some of the snack for him to also try

"Here, you can try some too" Y/n offered as he gestured to feed the delicacy to Kurapika's mouth making Kurapika's cheeks flush red, The blond eventually gave up and ate the remaining food of the stick 

Y/n had thought of what he just did to Kurapika making him also blush, the two looked at each other before breaking off eye contact by staring somewhere else, Leorio and Gon noticed the two making them confused before shrugging it off

"Here we are" The navigator stated as the four stopped to take a look around

"I'm pretty sure this is the building" The navigator pointed out making the four boys surprised 

The building was tall and it was so tall that the four boys could strain their necks just by looking up

"Wow such a nice place" Gon exclaimed looking at the tall building 

"So that's the exam site huh?" Leorio stated looking at the building carefully

"And this is the crowd that it draws" Leorio added looking serious

"Hunter applicants from across the world congregate here" Kurapika mentioned as he clenched his fist in determination

"My first shot at the Hunter exam, I wonder if this is how dad felt" Gon smiled in excitement thinking about what the hunter exam is gonna be like

"Hey guys, what are you doing over there?" Y/n called out the three who was too busy admiring the building

"The building is right here" The navigator pointed to what looked like a restaurant

"You're messing with us right?" Leorio scoffed as he took a good look at the building

"You're tellin me that Hunter applicants all over the globe come to this old dive to take the exam?" Leorio complained making the two confused at what their seeing 

"That's exactly right" The navigator confirmed as they faced the restaurant 

"Seems neat to me" Y/n added making Leorio look at him confused

"I mean the Hunter exam attracts millions of applicants every year, no one would expect the exam to be held here right?" Y/n explained making the three agree with him

"Good point" Leorio agreed as we head into the restaurant

"Welcome! Take a seat!" The chef greeted as we entered the restaurant

"Is the back room available?" The navigator asked making the chef stop cooking to take a look at them

"What are you having?" The chef questioned waiting for a reply

"The steak combo, please. The one that'll make us see the light" The navigator stated 

"Make it four" The navigator gestured as the chef looked at us 

"A combo for four eh? How do you want them to be cooked?" The chef questioned 

"Grilled slowly over a low flame til done, please" The navigator replied 

It seemed like some kind of password for hunter applicants to get in,  the four were leaded to the back room that looked like a normal room for people who was gonna dine in at the restaurant

The navigator told the four to wait in the room, Leorio asked where the other applicants are while Gon exclaimed that he can't wait for the steak combo making Leorio and Y/n chuckle at him

"Gon, that was just the password to get us inside" Kurapika explained as Gon frowned at the fact that their not gonna be eating the steak combo

"Only one in ten thousand" The navigator started

"You're very lucky, That's how many ever make it this far" The navigator added as he praised the four and wished them goodluck
