"The lady said we'd arrive in two hours but two hours had already passed!" Leorio whined as we kept walking to the cabin

We stumbled upon another "beware of the mythical beast sign" making Leorio complain about how we will never find the exam site 

"Guys, I'm so hungry! I also need to take a dump!" he shouted to us who was in front 

"Try to keep up Leorio!" Gon said to encourage Leorio who was very tired already

"I think I see it" I pointed out making the three look at where I was pointing and kept walking to the cabin

"Hey? Anybody home?" Leorio said as he knocked on the door, the four of us looked at each other before opening the door to the cabin

"What the-" I gasped as we saw what looked like a Kiriko who was holding a lady by the neck

"A Kiriko" I said to the three making only the Leorio and Gon confused

"It's a magical beast which can take on human form" Kurapika explained making it clear to the two

"Be careful guys that thing is extremely intelligent" I warned the three as we got into a fighting stance

"That beast is holding a woman!" Gon pointed out as we looked at it before the beast chuckled

"And the guy on the floor looks like he needs a doctor real bad" Leorio stated as the Kiriko leaped towards the window still holding the woman

"Please save her, save my wife" the man who looked badly injured cried out as Leorio rushed to patch him up

"Leorio, take care of him" I said as me, Kurapika and Gon leaped through the window to catch up with the Kiriko

I managed to keep an eye on the Kiriko's movement as we ran through the dark forest, It was very dark and hard to see but I manage to point it out for Gon so that he can catch up to the Kiriko

"Impressive" Kurapika uttered out making my face heat up a bit

"Oh uhh thanks" I replied making Kurapika realize that he said it out loud

Gon jumped up on the tree so that he can get a bit closer to the Kiriko, Gon shouted at the Kiriko to let go of the lady making the Kiriko laugh at him while jumping from tree to tree

"Why don't you try to take her from me then?" The Kiriko teased as Gon fell because he couldn't reach the branch

"The Kiriko talked! that's amazing!" Gon exclaimed as I caught him then putting him down 

"Well the Kiriko is a magical beast capable of human speech" I explained as we kept running to the Kiriko

"Really? Well, that ought to make this a lot easier" Gon said as he ran faster to the Kiriko

Gon jumped to a tree to call out the Kiriko, He called the Kiriko dumb making the beast look at him but was caught off guard as Gon jumped up to hit the Kiriko with his fishing rod, the Kiriko winced in pain making the lady fall out of their grip 

"Kurapika!" I shouted making him notice that the lady fell, Kurapika was able to catch the lady in time 

Gon still chased the Kiriko after being hit with a fishing rod, while Gon was chasing the beast Kurapika set the lady down and asked if she was okay

"I'm fine, but what about my husband? Is he alright?" The lady asked in a worried tone

"Don't worry, our friend is taking good care of him" I reassured the woman while panting

The woman pleaded to take her to her husband, as she pleaded me and Kurapika noticed the tattoo on her arm

"Wait, you're not-" As Kurapika was about to say something we were interrupted by Leorio who happened to caught up with us

"Kurapika, Y/n!" Leorio called out making me and Kurapika look at him

"You guys okay? oh what a relief" Leorio reassured us, me and Kurapika looked at each other in suspicion 

"How is the man you were looking after?" I asked while taking a good look at him

"Oh him yeah he's fine, I just patched him up and gave him painkillers so as of now he's sleeping in the cabin" Leorio stated as I looked at him again, I was sure this wasn't the real Leorio

I looked at the lady first before going closer to Leorio to look at him, he gave me a weird look before I threw a punch to his face making him whimper in pain. The Leorio we knew then transformed into a Kiriko making me surprised

"Hahaha...How did you know it was me?" The kiriko laughed as they brushed off the fact that I had hit them

"Well it's because Leorio promised that he would look after the man and that guy never leaves someone who is injured, take it as a lucky guess from me" I explained while the kiriko laughs again

"Is that so" Kurapika began as he put his sword up to the woman's throat

"But as for you, what do you want from us" Kurapika threatened making the woman smirk

It turns out that there were two Kiriko's and one was a male and the other one was female

"I guess you can tell them apart with their voices" I stated while I looked at the two

"That's what I said" Gon exclaimed as Leorio and Kurapika had a hard time differentiating the two

"Can you tell them apart?" Leorio asked to Kurapika who simply shaked their head no

After that test they finally introduced themselves as the navigators for the exam, and we were transported to the official exam site by flying us to the site.

The hard part is that the Kiriko had their claw only supporting my arms and not my feet so in other words my feet were just dangling, Kurapika must've noticed that my skin was pale from fear and my eyes closed real tight so that I don't see how high up we are

"Are you okay Y/n?" Kurapika asked nonchalantly as if we aren't a hundred feet off the ground

"Uhh...yeah I'm fine haha" I assured trying to play cool, to be honest I think I'm gonna throw up soon
