"Ok so, we're a business couple looking to buy a large number of shares in the company" I explained as I read off the file as Steve drove to the company. "We have to be careful as to not be recognised if hydra still has agents undercover, we really just need to meet the person in charge" Steve finished and I nodded.
I read over the file again quickly everything with these last few missions was quick and snappy, no time to really study or memorise but I was good at what I did so I was confident enough.
As much as I didn't want to be here with Steve this was work, I actually enjoyed my work knowing I was helping the world, making it a safer and better place to live in.
The mission was simple enough too, just a little risky. We were to try and get to the head of this company to figure out if it was hydra or still shield. We were going to do this by pretending to be a couple interested in making a heavy investment in the company. This would hopefully lead to getting a chance to meet the head.
All of this was to be done without being recognised as a member of the avengers because hydra was to have no clue of how we were scoping out traitors. I had on big sunglasses and kept my hair down in attempts to hide my face and Steve had gelled down his hair adding some glasses as well. He did look quite hot but would I ever confess that, absolutely not.
We arrived at our destination and Steve offered a hand. I sucked up and linked my arm with his walking into the building smiling.
We had an alias to sell and regardless of circumstances I was going to make sure I wasn't the reason we failed the mission if we did fail.
