Ace runs over to you both, "they're still breathing."

Marco runs in, seeing them both in a pool of blood. Ace was holding you.

"We need to get them to the infirmary now-yoi!" He picks up Thatch, heads for the door. Looks back, Ace still holding you. "ACE!"

Ace stands up, runs to the infirmary. He kicks the door open, places you on the bed. Marco comes in behind him.

"Ace go get Izo now. Let everyone know what's happen-yoi!"

"I'm not leaving (Y/N)!"

"If you don't go now, they're both going to die. Don't you want to catch who did this?"

Ace run out to the deck. "Yo Ace where Marco?" - "Where's your good luck charm? Haha." All the men laugh, shouting out comments

Whitebeard notices the blood on him, he slams his spears on the deck. Everyone goes quiet, and notices the blood.

"Ace..." He looks down on him.

"(Y/N) and Thatch were attacked! Izo Marco needs you now!"

Izo ran straight to the infirmary, no questions asked. Whitebeard looked over his sons, seeing one of them were missing. "Go look for Teach now! Ace where were they attacked?"

"Kitchen..."

"Jozu, Blenheim the kitchen now! The rest of you search this ship! I want him found and brought to me!"

Everyone was gone, the deck was clear. There was only Whitebeard and Ace.

- Ace -

That fucking bastard! How dare he hurt (Y/N) and Thatch! I'll kill him for what he's done.

"Ace..."

"I'm going to kill him..."

"We're going to hear him out."

I look up to Pops, "hear him out? He tried to kill (Y/N) and Thatch! There's nothing to hear!"

"Ace..."

I... I should of listen to (Y/N)... She said to watch for him... Shanks told me too... I broke my promise... I broke my promise to (Y/N)...

"FUCK!"

"Pops," hear Blenheim.

"Where is he?" I ask him.

"Thatch's Devil Fruit gone missing. Teach was after it, that's why he attack Thatch. (Y/N) happen to come across it. So far no one has been able to find him. Curiel and Haruta are searching his room now."

"Continue the search, he has to be somewhere."

"Yes, Pops." Blenheim runs off.

"Ace, go clean yourself up. And rest up, I imagine Marco and Izo are going to be a while."

"I'm not resting till the fucker is caught." I walk off, looking for him myself.

I see Curiel and Haruta coming, "what did you find?" They look at each other. "Tell me!"

"Teach's stuff all gone. All we found was this piece of paper." I snatch the paper from Curiel.

'I have to find the Yami Yami Fruit. No one else can have it! I'll kill anyone who has it, I don't care who has it!'

"That's bastard!" I scrunch the paper drop it. "He didn't care who he killed."

Haruta picks it, "you should wash up."

I glare at the little brat. "I'm going to find the bastard."

"You won't find him Ace he's gone." Jozu walks up.

"What do you mean gone?!"

"He attacks Thatch and (Y/N), grab the chest and took one of the smaller ships and left." Jozu

"FUCK!" I punch the wall, setting it on fire.

Haruta and Curiel try to put it out.

"Ace you need to calm down." Jozu grabs my shoulder.

"Calm down? Calm down?! Both (Y/N) and Thatch got hurt, Teach got away. What if they die?! Both my Soul Mate and Brother are hanging on for dear life. You want me to calm down! If I ever see Teach I'm going to kill the fucking bastard!" I storm off down to his room.

"Ace! ACE!" Stuff Jozu.

I kick the door down to Teach's room. I turn over every piece of furniture. "FUCK! There's nothing in here! THAT BLOODY BASTARD!"

Now I have to have a shower, after being in his room.

After a shower, I make my way up to the infirmary. (Y/N) and Thatch should be okay now. I go to knock on the door.

"They're still going." Vista stands up.

"What do you mean they're still going? They weren't that badly hurt." Were they?

"Trust me Ace they are. Marco had to get some of his men in to help them."

"They're allowed in, I can't." I go to storm in.

"Ace, you're better out here, than in there. Trust me..."

"What is it Vista? What are you not telling me?" He looks away from me. "Tell me!"

"ACE!" I hear Pops calling out to me. "ACE HERE NOW!"

"Pops will tell you."

Walk into Pops' room, slam the door shut.

"What is happening? Tell me!"

"Ace..." Huh... Pops' voice... Why is it...

"No... They're not dead... They can't be... They were still breathing... (Y/N) was breathing..."

"They're still breathing for the moment..."

"For the moment, what do you mean by that?!"

"They've almost lost them twice now... They're holding on, but I don't know if they'll survive the night..."

"What...?"

"It'll be best to prepare for the worse. I'm sorry Ace."

No... (Y/N) can't die... I can't lose her... I've already lost a brother, I can't lose another...

I stumble out of Pops' room. Jozu grabs me, "come on Ace. There's nothing you can do. It's best for you to get some rest."

"No, no! (Y/N)! Thatch!"

Ace struggle to get out of Jozu hold. He tried to fire up, it just fizzled out. He didn't want to hear that he could lose you and Thatch. He wanted to hear that you were both going to make it. Not prepare for the worse. Jozu opens the door, sits him down. He leaves the room, sits outside the door. Soon as the door closes, Ace breaks down. Breaking his promise to you was drowning him. Now that you might not make it, it was the final gasp for air. He felt like he was dying slowly. That his world was coming to an end.
