Chapter 3 : Danger

𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙧𝙙 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣'𝙨 𝙋𝙊𝙑

Jisoo and Chae went home. Jisoo looks mad while Chae is wiping off her tears. "Are you guys okay?" Eomma worriedly asked. "Some 'PrInCeSs' made Chae cry." Jisoo said emphasizing the word 'princess'.

"Oh.. wait what?!" Appa exclaimed. "Yes, A Princess" Jisoo said. "Wh-Who? What's her name?" Appa asked. "Irene I guess" Jisoo said making their appa sigh.

"J-Jisoo can we talk?" Appa asked. Jisoo nods. They went into a more private place. "What is it appa?" Jisoo asked. "I.. Have to tell you the truth. I hope you can understand.." Appa said. Jisoo nods. "Don't be mad at me okay?" Appa said. Jisoo nods once again.

"J-Jisoo.. you're adopted" Appa said. Jisoo got shock. She felt like her world fell apart. "W-What..?" Jisoo asked. Tears forming in her eyes. "I-I am sorry" Appa said.

Jisoo remembers that she needs to understand there might be a reason. "Then who's my real parents..?" Jisoo asked.

"You are the daughter of the Fromer Queen Soojin and Former King Jin Yoo" Appa said making Jisoo more shock. "Y-You mean the people you always told me every bedtime stories?" Jisoo asked.

Appa nods.

"S-So.. I-I am a princess?" Jisoo asked. Appa nods once again and revealed a box. "Jisoo. I want you to keep this box whatever it takes. This box will prove that you are the long lost princess of this country." Appa said. "N-Ne" Jisoo said and hugs the box.

"Now you know.. But please don't treat us like just strangers... We will still treat you as our own.." Appa said and pats Jisoo's head. "N-Ne Appa." Jisoo said.

"If something happens, Go to this address with your sister." Appa said and gave a paper to Jisoo.

She reads it.

'A foreigner..' Jisoo thought.

"Ne appa..." Jisoo said.

At night, While they were having dinner they heard a gunshot. They were shock to see Mrs. Park got shot in the head. In front of them, They saw it. The kids saw it. Mr. Park saw it.

They were shock. "RUN!" Mr. Park said. The kids did what he said. Jisoo pulled Chae and runs at the window. Chae was traumatized. They were running and running until they heard another gunshot. Jisoo looked back just to see her father got shot in the chest.

It was a slow motion in her sight. She saw how her father fall down slowly. She saw the blood came out form his father.

She was tearing up but she just pulled chae and runs away. She is holding the clip her father gave her, She is wearing the hanbok her mother gave her, she is holding the box and she is also wearing the necklace Chae gave her.

That night was a total nightmare. They reached the forest. It was dark and scary but Jisoo's feet were unstoppable. She continued and found a hiding spot.

They went there but it seems like only one person can fit. She puts Chae there. "Where are you going eonnie! Don't leave me here! You'll be in danger!" Chae shouted. "Were gonna be fine if you stay quiet and wait for me.. I'll come back for you. For now follow my order" Jisoo whispered and kissed her sister's forehead.

Chae was crying. "See you soon.. Sister" Jisoo said before running away.

"Be safe for me.. I promise to avenge our parents death.. And I will come back to you once I became stronger" Jisoo said after wiping tears.
