Chapter 8 : Still alive and healthy

𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙧𝙙 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣'𝙨 𝙋𝙊𝙑

"Wait.. Jisoo?" Irene asked in shock. "Who's Jisoo?" Jisoo lied. "Tsk. Nevermind." Irene said. "Let's leave." Irene said to her guards and left.

Jisoo sighed. The people at the market had a relief.

"Thank you young lady.. May I ask your name?" The vendor asked.

Jisoo looked at them. In her mind, she is battling if she should lie or not. But at the end, Lying won once again.

"My name is Moon Tae-Yang" Jisoo lied. "Please all of you, Be kind to our new hero Moon Tae-Yang!" The vendor proudly said. "No need, It's fine.." Jisoo said and smiled. "Are you joining the King's 'Queen Finding'?" The vendor asked when the people started to do their own jobs again.

"Ne.." Jisoo answered. "Oh, I am rooting for you.. I thought you're only 18" the vendor said. Jisoo smiled. "I am actually 25" Jisoo answered

"Okay then, You are beautiful on the inside and also on the outside, You have the face of a queen Tae-Yang. I think the king will choose you" The vendor said and handed me a bag of fruits.

"What's this for?" Jisoo asked. "That's for helping us with Princess Irene. She is a little brat you see.. but has a lot of power" the vendor said in fear. "Kamsamnida for the fruits, I'll be goong now.. Jalgayo! (Good Bye)" Jisoo said. They both smiled and waved at each other.

Jisoo went back to Jinyoung and Mrs. Park. "Why did you change your name?" Mother and son asked.

"Irene knew my name. If she knows who I am, You may not be able to see my face and hear my voice the next day. And I might not meet my step sister again." I answered. "So I think Mrs. Park and Jinyoung, You both should call me Moon Tae-Yang too!" I said.

They both laugh. "The name's great, No doubt" Jinyoung said and smiled back.

Irene went back to the village's hotel. Her mother is there.

"Mother!" She shouted when she came back to their room. "Yes my daughter?" She asked. "Eonnie!" Her little sister shouted and will hug her but she immediately slap her sister.

"Stop it Jennie. We're not sisters, Just STEP sisters." Irene said. "M-Mian.. (Sorry)" Jennie said and just go to her room.

"Hm. So what do you need?" Her mother asked.

"I just saw someone that looks like Jisoo." Irene said. "What?!" Her mother said. "Call Mr. Yang immediately!" Her mother said.

"Yes Your Majesty." A guard said and immediately leave.

"Where did you saw her?" Her mother asked. "The market." She said. "I saw her face once again. And I hate it. But I heard her say that her name is Moon Tae-Yang" Irene said with a devil look in her eyes.

"Your Majesty, Mr. Yang is here." The guard said. "What do you need.. Queen Wang Ji Hye?" Mr Yang asked. "Do a background check to Moon Tae-Yang" Ji Hye said. "Okay your majesty. You'll receive it tomorrow" Mr. Yang said.

"Tsk. I thought the whole family's dead.?" Ji Hye asked. "I don't know mother.." Irene said.

'If she is Jisoo.. I will be sure that I will make her whole life hell.' Irene thought.
