Chapter 4 : Mr. Drein Smith

𝙅𝙞𝙨𝙤𝙤'𝙨 𝙋𝙊𝙑

I ran and ran. It is now maybe 4 am. I left Chae there for like 5 hours now. I hope some nice people save her. I will find you someday Chae. I promise.

I ask some people about the address my father gave me and luckily they bring me to Mr. Drein's house. I knock and it revealed a tall guy. He is a korean? But I thought he is a foreigner?

"Annyeong Haseyo Mr. Smith.. My name's Jisoo. Kim Jisoo." I said. He looked shocked and immediately covers me with a coat before letting me in. Like he was nervous that other people will see me. Is it because he also know that I am the lost princess?

"So the Park Family really died..?" He asked. I nod. "Only me and Chaeyoung survived. But in order to be safe, I hid Chae at the forest and make the guards follow me. I don't know but I felt like I did right because it will save her life." I said looking down.

"You did well. But, I will now letting you know that I will train you and shape you into the right shape of being a warrior. I will make you brave and independent.

"B-But how-?" I asked. "I am the former King of South Korea. In short, I am your Grandfather." He said making me more shock.

"But why are you here? Royals like you shouldn't be here in a crowd! You should be heading first and leading people right?" I asked.

"Your mother's step sister. She made her way to the top by playing dirty. By cheating." He said. "What do you mean..?" I asked. "She killed your mother and threw me out of the palace by framing me." He said.

He looks disappointed. I mean, Who wouldn't be disappointed? She is his daughter but she still managed to frame and betray her own family.

"Have you eaten?" He asked. "No, Not yet." I said.

I am lucky to be here early. I didn't know that this village is really far. How did I manage to run for 2 hours and walk for 3 hours?.

He cooked me foods and I started to eat. Even if I am starving, I still manage to eat with full of manners and respect. I ate clean.

"Go take a bath then I will cure your wounds." Mr. Drein said and he gave me a clean towel and clothes to wear after taking a bath.

"Ne, Kamsamnida." I said. He just smiled at me and wait for me in the living room.

I started to take a bath. It's hard to take a bath since my wounds hurt so bad. I finally finished and wear a white hanbok that Korean women usually wears at night.

I went back there to see him with first aid kits. He cured my wound one by one. I have wounds in my foot, left knee, right elbow, left arm and a small scar in my left cheek.

"There, all done. You can sleep now at the room in the right" he said. "Kamsamnida.." I said and bowed before going to my room. I lay down on the soft bed.

'I will find you Chae. I really will. I promise' I thought before going to sleep.
