Chapter 6 : The Boy at the Lake

𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙧𝙙 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣'𝙨 𝙋𝙊𝙑

It's been 2 years. Jisoo is now 14 years old. Still living with her grandfather. They are now currently training near the lake.

"Stand Up! A Queen should be strong and fearless! Stop being a wimp!" Mr. Smith said. Jisoo stood up even though she is very tired. She tried attacking Mr. Smith again. She tried to kick him but he managed to block her attack and kick her in her waist making her fall down again.

"Break time. I'll go get some cookies and cold water. Wait here" Mr. Smith said. "Arasseo" Jisoo said while standing and go walk around near the lake.

Mr. Smith go back to their house while Jisoo is still wondering around when she heard a bear and a boy crying. She immediately get her bow and arrow. She came to look just to see a boy that got tripped on a rock and a bear wanting the boy's flesh.

Jisoo immediately shot the bear with three arrows in unison in the head and face of the bear causing the bear to scream in pain and runs away.

She helped the boy to stand up. "Are you okay?" She asked. "Yes! Thank you!" He said and hugged her. They both somewhat felt an electricity going through her vein.

They stopped hugging each other. "What's your name?" Jisoo asked. "My name's Seokjin. How about you?" He asked. "Mine's Jisoo." Jisoo answered with a smile on their faces. "Jisoo what?" He asked. "You mean my surname?" Jisoo asked. Seokjin nods.

"It's Jisoo K-" Jisoo got cut off when a guard came in running towards Seokjin. "Your majesty!" They yelled. "Oh my god.. Seokjin!" A woman said. The woman is crying while running towards Seokjin. "Eomma!" Seokjin said and they both hugged each other.

Jisoo, on the other hand, sneak away since she now know that they are part of a noble family or they have the blood of royals.

"Are you okay Jinnie?" Seokjin's mother asked. "Yes I am, I nearly got eaten by a bear but a girl save me" Seokjin said.

"Which girl?" His mother asked. "Jisoo, Her-" Seokjin got cut off when she noticed that Jisoo disappeared. "Wait where is she?" Seokjin asked.

"Maybe its your imagination Seokjin.. Let's go home. Taehyung and Namjoon is there waiting for you" Seokjin's mother said. "Arasseo.." Seokjin said.

He is still confused where did Jisoo go.

Jisoo on the other hand got scolded by Mr. Smith.

"Why did you go deeper in the forest!? There's bears here its very dangerous to explore deeper than where we are right now!" Mr. Smith scolded. "Joesonghamnida.. (Sorry in Formal way)" Jisoo said. Mr. Smith sighed.

"It's okay, at least you are safe. Here, eat some cookies. I baked them so they're tasty" Mr. Smith said.

Jisoo took one and she got amazed. "This taste good grandpa!" Jisoo said making the old man chuckle.

"Aish. Just don't go far away from here again okay?" Mr. Smith said.

"Ne!" Jisoo said before they go home.
