Chapter 5 : Dream of the Past

𝙅𝙞𝙨𝙤𝙤'𝙨 𝙋𝙊𝙑

'Where am I? A palace?' I thought.

I look around and saw three girls and one man.

"Father who's she?" A princess asked to man. Maybe the man is in his 50's. The man looked back to see his beautiful daughter, curious about the two girls he is with.

'Wait isn't that- Mr. Smith?!' I thought

"Soojin, This is your soon-to-be stepmother and stepsister. Wang Ye-Rin (Stepmother) and Wang Ji Hye (Stepsister)" Mr. Drein said. "Jinjja? (Really?)" The girl that named Soojin said.

'It's a familiar name though.' I thought

"Annyeong Haseyo Ms. Wang and Ji Hye!" Sooji said while smiling. On the other hand, Ji Hye seems to be pissed off by Soojin's presence.

"Annyeong Haseyo, Soojin! Your father talks a lot about you" Ms. Wang said with a genuine smile in her face. "You're so beautiful and nice.." Ms. Wang complimented.

"Tsk. Where? I don't see it?" Ji Hye said. The smile on their faces faded. "Wang Ji Hye! Apologize to Soojin, Now!" Her mother scolded.

"Jagi, Don't push her too much.. It is fine. Right Soojin?" He asked. "Yes Ms. Wang! I am fine with that. It's okay, I already forgave her just now" Soojin said and smiled.

"Kamsamnida Soojin." Ms. Wang said with a smile on her face. "You are always welcome and also, Please enjoy here in the palace. Again, It is a pleasure to meet you" Soojin said and bowed to show respect before walking away.

"She's a nice kid.." Ms. Wang said.

"Yeah, I know." Mr. Smith said.

Ji Hye, Who seemed to be pissed of by Sooji's presence always do something to ruin her soon-to-be step sister's day.

The place changed. How..? Now I see a wedding ceremony. Is Mr. Smith and Ms. Wang will get married?

The wedding continued. Then at night, Sooji is with a boy. We have the same eyes and nose. Why haven't I noticed that me and Sooji have the same face shape,  lips and eyebrows.

Are they my parents?

"Soojin, My Love.. When will we tell your parents about us?" The guy asked. "We will when the right time comes.." Sooji said. Then the guy who seems to be my father kneeled down. "Kim Soojin, I want to be with you forever. You're the best girl I've ever been with in my life. Will you accept me to be your husband?" The guy proposed.

"Of Course, Prince Kim Jin Yoo!" Soojin answered and they hug each other. I saw Ji Hye, Watching them I think she is heartbroken, How? She is crying.

"You will pay Soojin. I will make sure your soon-to-be child will suffer. I promise." Ji Hye whispered.

Jin Yoo and Soo Jin told their parents about their relationship. The parents immediately agreed since both have a wealthy family and good backgroung profile. Their parents are friends.

After a few years, Soojin and Jinyoo became the Queen and King. Both decided to take work first before a kid.

After a few years, Both decided to have a baby and Soojin got pregnant.

When the baby was born on January 03, That's when the father died in a war. Ji Hye decided to take down Soojin.

But she is unlucky that the baby survived.

Now the place changed again. Its a court.

Mr. Smith? Did he do something?

"Former King Kim Soo Yoon, is accused guilty for murdering the second queen, Queen Wang Ye-Rin. The punishment is to get kick out of the palace and be forbidden to come near the royals and even the palace. Order of the court. It is now finished, Take him away!" The Judge said.

Then that's when I felt a tap on my shoulders.

I woke up. "Hey. You're having a nightmare". Mr. Smith said.

"You're real name is Kim Soo Yoon right?" I asked making him shock. "How'd you know?" He asked.

"I dreamt of the past." I answered.
