"No, Y/n that's wrong! You can't just do that to me, we're friends!" he threw his around around her shoulder as she laughed.

Friends.

The two were just friends.

"Yeah yeah I know! But you did that to me last round, I thought we were friends Atsumu!" she chuckled, looking back at the tv screen, first place she was in while he was in fifth. She smirked, shoving his shoulder, gesturing that she was better than him.

"I knew I should've waited to use the blue shell!" he groaned but laughed as he accepted his defeat. "You were gonna loose either way." Osamu came in to the room, Suna following afterwards as they sat on the floor next to the bed. "Don't you have to go home soon Y/n?"

"In a bit." she looked at the clock, noticing how late it was. "Actually i'll go now, see you tomorrow Miyas, Suna!" she grabbed her bag, leaving out the door as Osamu and Suna looked at Atsumu. "What?"

"You two are just friends?" Atsumu gave them an odd look. "Mhm, what else are we?"

"If I didn't know you two, I would've thought you were dating." Atsumu laughed, he could never like her, he thought of her as a girl friend. "Why does everyone say that? She doesn't even think of me that way and neither do I." he scoffed, laying his back on the bed while the two sighed.

"You're never going to get a girlfriend.."

"Miyas!" the two looked over her, eyes lighting up as they saw her come with a bag of food. "Y/n, you coming to our practice match later? We're going against Fukurodani-"

"Sorry, I have plans later on." Atsumu sulked, shaking his head. "But Y/n, you never see me practice, it's always Kita you go to." she smiled. "He's sweet, plus it's family business."

"Alright, the bells about to ring we should get going." the two nodded following Osamu, Suna and Yosaku joined them a bit later, talking about how they didn't want to do the math quiz. "Y/n, you never talk about being in a relationship with someone. How come?" Osamu asked as they entered the classroom, Atsumu waved at her, going into his class.

"Not really looking for a relationship honestly, I don't think I have the time plus I don't see myself in one." she sat down at her desk, both Suna and Osamu sitting next to her. "Same, I rather be friends with benefits but nothing more." Suna agreed, taking out his notebook.

"I get that but, don't you want someone to talk to or to love?"

"That's why I have you two..maybe Atsumu, you guys are like..how do I word it, you're like my close friends where I can't develop any stronger feelings for you know?" she said, laying her head on the desk. "I love you guys, as friends and honestly I really don't want nothing more. I like the friendship that we have." she smiled, turning her head to look at them as she ruffled their hair.

"Me too."

"Where's this coming from Osamu?"

"I was just curious, I would've thought you liked Kita or maybe even 'Tsumu." she laughed, shaking her head. "Atsumu? Kita I understand, I mean how can you not? He's the boy you would want to take home to your parents."

The two nodded, agreeing with her opinion. "But again, I don't see Atsumu like that, i'd get grossed out when people ask me of we're dating. It's like a forbidden thing to do, it feels wrong." Suna patted her shoulder. "Maybe you're just in denial."

"Denial? Why would I be in denial?"

"I don't know, that's how I was." the two immediately looked at Suna. "You..liked someone?!" he nodded, pointing at her. "It was the beginning of first year though, nothing really."

"Mhm alright." the class door opened, the teacher stepped in holding a pile of papers. "Alright class, shall we get started?"

"I hope we're not doing that test.."

"Please get your paper and pencil, we're doing a test today!"
