Y/n didn't see him until Monday, she noticed him purposely ignoring her, trying to hide himself whenever she saw him. Osamu said he didn't know why he was acting that way, though she knew he knew. The two were close even if they seemed as if they disliked each other.

She tried calling him but it always ended with a voicemail as a final response so after school she waited outside the schools fence to walk with him like they usually did. He passed by her, not taking a glance. He knew it was wrong.

"Atsumu, tell me what's wrong. Did I do something that made you upset?" he sighed, noticing how she had already caught up with him, walking by his side. "Are you..dating Suna?"

"Huh..where'd you get that from?!" she gasped, laughing shortly after as he felt relieved. "But you guys kissed.." she shook her head, wrapping her arm around his while she laid her head on his arm. "He kissed me on the cheek like he usually does. I don't even see him that way Atsumu, even if I did or anyone else, you'd be the first to know, okay?"

"Okay." he smiled widely, ruffling her hair. "And sorry for ignoring you..it wasn't right. I was just thinking about something too hard."

"I understand, just give me a warning next time so that way I won't bother you." she said while he threw her arm over her shoulder, telling her about his day. They both shared laughs, not noticing how quick the walk home had went as they both went to their respective houses. Atsumu had a bubbly feeling inside him, not being able to take the smile off his face.

He had a small smirk on his face while he entered his house, his mother was oddly looking at her son, wondering why. Just why. "Atsumu, did something happen today?" she said, walking over to him as he set his bag down. "Nope! Just a happy mom." he kissed her on the cheek, going to his room after.

He was happy, very happy but he seemed to quickly forget that she didn't have any feelings for him. Though he knew that he would win her heart, he knew that she was the woman he would be marrying, even if it took years. He laid on his bed, feeling the corners of his mouth start to hurt as Osamu came into the room.

"Why are you smiling so hard? Weirdo.."

"I'm not a weirdo! And I wasn't even smiling!" Osamu sighed, pointing to his brother's face. "You're all red, like cranberry juice." Atsumu scoffed then gave him a questionable look as Osamu went on the top bunk. "Cranberry juice? Isn't it purple?"

"It's a dark red."

"It's purple."

"Dark red 'Tsumu."

"'Samu it's a purple." Osamu rolled his eyes as he threw a pillow at Atsumu, causing him to groan as he threw one back. "I'm not going to argue about this, it's a dark red and that's final."

"I'll just ask mom.."
