"We're here!"

"You took..almost half an hourrr." Suna looked at the two entering his room, Rei quickly hugged Y/n. "Honestly at this point, just adopt her. She seems to like you more than me." Suna said, glancing at the two before going back on his phone. "I see her as sister Rin.." Rei smiled at her older brother while Osamu was curled up on the bean bag, taking a nap as he was neatly tucked in with a blanket.

"He couldn't wait to go to sleep..?" Atsumu said, looking at his brother, raising the blanket over his head. "Nope, he just went to sleep a few minutes ago too." Suna poked Osamu's head, quickly moving away, going back as he didn't see any type of response. Y/n laughed at him. "Guess the game really wore him off."

Atsumu nodded, moving on to Suna's bed as he laid in a star position, slowly closing his eyes as he felt the bed slowly sink in, feeling her head lay on his arm. He felt her back lean into his chest while he rested his head onto her neck as she felt his breathing start to tickle. Rei had slowly crept up next to her, pulling the blanket over her and Y/n, purposely leaving Atsumu cold.

Suna had went back to his game, placing his headphones over his ear, listening to his friends and sister snore. Only for a few minutes later, he sat next to Osamu, telling himself he wasn't going to sleep only for him to yawn while his eyes started to close. The door went wide open as their mother was carrying a plate of sandwiches.

"Every time I make food, they're always sleeping.." she quietly walked over to his desk, placing the plate down as she reached for her phone, taking a few pictures. She closed his room door, smiling to herself, going through the set of photos she took, quickly leaving to go print them. "They have such a cute friendship."

Unknowingly, Atsumu was still awake, his arm was wrapped around her torso while his leg was on top of hers. His heart was beating at a fast rate, making him grow ever more nervous as to why his heart was beating so fast. He felt her breathing slower, knowing she was in a deep sleep. He looked over her shoulder, getting a quick look at her face while his face started to heat up.

Atsumu was very confused, he never felt this way for anyone, specifically Y/n so it was a new feeling until he figured out why only two seconds later. He couldn't possibly like her, the two were friends and only friends. He tried dismissing the feeling but it just got worse every second, he knew why he got jealous before the match because he likes her. He knew why he noticed more how her hand writing was so unique he could point it out as if he knew it so well because he likes her. He knew why he liked when she would always fangirl about her favorite volleyball players and how she missed playing because he likes her.

He knew why because he likes her.

He most definitely likes her.

He knew if he told his brother, Osamu would tell him "I told you so." because he was right. Osamu was right, how Atsumu took her to his favorite place, no one has ever seen that place except his family. She was someone dear to him, someone special, someone who he liked.

He sighed, turning the other way as his back faced hers, he couldn't like her. Why? Because they were simply just friends. Friends who could never like or fall in love with each other, friends who were scared of ruining their relationship if one or the other had developed feelings.

Friends who liked remaining just friends.
