Chapter 55|| Somehow

                   {Hawks/Keigo POV}

The sound of sizzling eggs filled my kitchen. As I was cooking some eggs for my song bird. While I was making the eggs for (Y/n), I heard a yawn. I turned around and saw my (h/c) hired boyfriend get up. "Morning baby bird, "morning," he said in a drowsy tone. I then noticed his wings; half of his feathers on each wing was orange. "Your feathers change colors when the next season comes, right?" I asked. he perked up from that question, "Yeah, why?"Look at your wings." I told him.

He spread out one of his wings so he could look at what I was talking about. "What? Is it that why your feathers are turning orange?" He asked. "Kinda, you said you get different abilities when your wings change colors, so what abilities does orange give you?" I asked him. "Oh, well, it fires power. I can make flames, make an area I'm in more hotter, my feathers are more hot, so when I cut something, smoke would be seen. So if I cut someone, it's going to be pain." He told me, "Ah, okay, anyways your eggs are done." I said as I grabbed a plate and placed the eggs on it.

I grabbed a fork and placed it on the plate as well. I handed the plate of food to him. "Thanks, bird brain." He said. "Aw, thanks..... Wait, bird brain!" I questioned, offended by the nickname. "Yeah, Keigo, you're not very bright. Let me rephrase that. You are smart; it's just that you don't like to use your brain most of the time."What!? When?" I asked. "That time, you tripped over nothing."It wasn't nothing; I tripped over a rock."I didn't see a rock, and also that one time you left aluminum foil in the microwave. Luckily, I was able to stop you in time." (Y/n) retorted. "I-....." I had a frown on my face and crossed my arms over my chest.

"Aw, don't act like such a baby. I'm just playing with you." I didn't change my position. "I'll buy you some chicken nuggets at McDonald's later~" "REALLY!!!!" I asked, excited, my wing perking up. "No, I'm broke." He said with a smirk. "Wow, you're the best EvEr." I said sarcastically. "I know I am." He said. "I WAS BEING SARCASTIC!!!"

                            ~ ~ ~ ~

Me and (Y/n) were chilling on the couch watching TV.  Then I heard my phone ring. "Can you get up so I can grab my phone?" I asked my boyfriend. He got up off of me. I stood up and grabbed my phone. It was a call from Shigaraki. I clicked the answer button and put the phone up to my ear. "Keigo, could you and (Y/n) come to the base? I think you guys would want to see the events that will unfold soon with us."Oh, uh sure, I'll ask (Y/n)." I put the phone down, "Hey (Y/n), do you wanna go to the LOV base later?"Sure," I hear him answer. "Yeah, sure, we'll come. When should we get there?" "Try to get here at 17:00(5:00) because that billboard starts at 18:00(6:00)."Okay, we'll be there."  Me and Shigaraki said our goodbyes, and we both hung up.

I walked back to the couch where my boyfriend was. I laid down next to him. "Why did Shigaraki want us to come to the base today?" (Y/n) asked, "Oh, it's because he said if we wanted to watch the billboard chart event so we can see it explode. We don't have to get ready for about four hours."Ah." I snuggled closer to him. We continued to watch TV until we had to get ready.

                         <Time skip>

"Are you almost done in there!" I asked (Y/n). "Yeah, but I forgot to bring my clothes in, so I'm gonna go out." He said. I heard the bathroom door open and stepped out a half naked (Y/n); he had a towel around his waist. He was about to pass by me, but I stopped him when I grabbed him, "Now, what's a sexy person like you doing? Maybe I could get a kiss here." I say, pointing at my cheek. He blushed, and then he kissed my cheek. I could feel my cheeks heat (Y/n) walked off looking for clothes.

*God, he's so adorable.*

I was on the roof of our apartment building waiting for (Y/n). he said he forgot something, so I told him I'll wait outside for him. I heard the door that led to the rest of the building open. I turned my head to the door and saw (Y/n).  I walk to him and hug him, "ready to fly?" I asked; he nodded. Then, we jumped off the building and flew to the LOV base.

       <Timeskip to when they get to the                base>

                   {3rd person POV}

"Hey (Y/n)!" Toga said as she jumped and hugged her friend. The others said there hi's, and then the two sat down. (Y/n) was talking to Toga and Spinner, while Keigo was talking to Shigaraki, Dabi, and Kurogiri. They were all waiting for the billboard chart event to start.

30 minutes until it started and 30 minutes until a terrible event happened.

                    <Mini timeskip>

"Hello, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to this year's hero billboard chart event. Now, this one will be an interesting one, considering that All Might has retired; anyways, let's continue." They guy on the TV said. Everyone was watching, waiting. Shigaraki was a bit nervous because he thought something could go wrong, and then he would have to use plan B, which was really risky.

They watched as the heroes were walking up on the stage. Shigaraki had the remote, and he was waiting to press the button, the button that would detonate the bombs. Now, he was just waiting until they were going to do their speeches.

Then, they started their speeches.

Shigaraki turned to his crew. "This will definitely impact society, and it starts now." He said as he pressed the button. He looked at the TV and then.... nothing.  This caught Shigaraki off guard; as soon as he pressed the button, the bombs should have exploded. This event was going on live.

Shigaraki kept on pressing the button, hoping it would work. After the ninth time he gave up, he threw the remote at the wall. "GODDDAMN IT!" He yelled; he turned back to the others. "This plan somehow failed, so we're going onto plan B. Everyone get ready and don't get caught. Kurogiri get the van ready."

"Let's go." He stood up and walked to where the van was; his crew followed behind him.
