Just a Headache

Two weeks have passed since that amazing day at the meadow.

Chris and I had stayed there for hours until the sun started setting and he drove me home.

I guess you could say that we are "official" now.

Last weekend he took me out to see the movie "Despicable Me 3". He knew how much I loved the movies and the cute litte minions that run around acting like hooligans.

After the movie we went out to eat. It was such a perfect day!

"Hey, Lexi!" Chris shouted by the front entrance to the school.

"I'll see you in first period!" I shouted to Claire as I ran toward Chris.

"Morning, beautiful." He said as he slipped his hand into mine.

"Oh my gosh, stop! You are making me blush again!" I complained.

"I love it when you blush!" He laughed.

I stuck my tongue out at him.

As we walked down the hall I started feeling an intense pain in the back of my head.

Maybe it'll go away...

But it only got worse.

"Ow!" I moaned.

"Are you ok?" Chris said with concern.

"My head is killing me, maybe it's just a headache."

I knew it wasn't a headache, but I didn't want Chris to worry.

"Are you sure?" He said with doubt.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I didn't get much sleep last night so I'm pretty sure it's just a headache..." I assured.

We walked into first period and sat in our front row seats.

"Hey! We get our scores back today!" Chris said with excitement.

"I know right! You are soooo going down!" Said Claire whom I didn't even realize walked in and had taken her seat.

Claire has been annoyed with Chris lately because he has managed to take her title of best student in the Junior class.

"Alright students, I'll be passing around your scores from last week." Said Mr. Stuart.

As he was passing back the papers I suddenly felt an extreme sharp pain in my head.

I clutched my skull and clenched my teeth trying not to cry out.

"I don't think you are alright, Lexi!" Chris said.

"Lexi! You need to take it easy!" Claire said with fear.

I just nodded and I received my test before Chris and Claire did.

A big, fat, red C- was scribbled on the top...

"What did you get?" Asked Claire.

Before I could answer my head began to spin uncontrollably and the next thing I knew I was falling over onto the floor.

Everything else went dark after that...
