Chapter two: Clary

He was sweet and gentle, and did it quick, he didn't move till I was ready, but it was over so quickly, not at all how I imagined my first time, there was no passion, he did it quick as if he'd done it a thousand times, he probably had.

I fell asleep a little while after him, my heart heavy as I realized that I might regret ever knocking on his front door.

The next morning I awoke alone, I got dressed quickly in one of the dresses in my wardrobe, it was a simple blue dress, with sleeves that reached my elbows, and ended an inch above my knees, I slipped on a pair of heels before I curled my hair a little, and put on a little make up, I reached up and lightly touched my mother's pendant, it was the only thing I had left of her, the only thing my uncle allowed me to keep after he murdered her.

A knock at the door made me jump, "Yes?" I asked, the door opened and a maid walked in,

"The elders, my lady" she said, bowing I nodded as the elders step in, one by one inspected the blood stain, before bowing and leaving, I sighed, I didn't think it'd be that quick, but I wish that Axel had been present, the maid moved to change the sheets.

"Where is Axel?" I asked,

"He's in his room, my lady" she whispered, I nodded, standing before I left, my heels clicking against the floor a little, I approached his room, as I followed his smell, two warriors stood guard a little while away.

"Luna, you can't go in there" one said, I glared as I walked passed them,

"Why the hell not?" I asked, as they grabbed my arms, "Let go!" I growled they released me as they bowed their heads in submission, unable to resist the command of their Luna; I walked towards the doors, and threw them open.

"Why were you not there?!" I asked, before looking up, I froze, and felt my heart break, he wasn't alone, a leggy red head was straddling him, she was only in her underwear, and he was shirtless, his lips attached to her neck.

"Clary" he said, his eyes wide, "I can explain" I turned and ran from the room, tears falling down my cheeks, the guards faces were sorrowful, I ran down the stairs, as I heard Axel following, "Clary listen please!" he shouted, I reached my room, and slammed the door shut before he could reach me, and locked it.

He pounded on the door "Clary! Open the door! Let me explain!"

"No!" I replied, as a sob escaped my mouth, "Go away, if you feel the need to screw some whore the day after our marriage, then go!" he was silent, I stepped away from the door, and crawled onto my bed, as I allowed the sobs to fall.

The next morning, I finally left my room, Axel was nowhere to be seen, I sighed in relief, as I headed downstairs to the kitchen, Meredith was there, she gave me a gentle smile.

"Hey sweetie"

"I guess you know huh?" I whispered, holding back the tears,

"Everyone does I'm afraid" she said, sighing, I sat in front of her groaning, as my head fell against the island bench, "Rebecca is bad at keep things like that hidden, especially since she thinks she's the Alpha's mistress, because apparently he went back and continued with her" she said, rolling her eyes, ok I couldn't hold the tears or the sobs in anymore, "Oh darling" she said, pulling me into a hug.
