Chapter 18: Downfall

Jin POV

The Tour was over, and we are all back in Korea.
After month apart, I was happy to be home again.
Nothing changed and all was like we left, I mean obviously it was, but it was still nice to know that we have this place for our own.

Like always, we had some time for ourselves.
Normally, I would go vised my family but this time I stayed at home like most of us did.
It wasn't like we didn't want to see them again, but the tour was just so tiring that we decided to rest for a bit.
It wasn't much but still a few weeks off is better than nothing.

I promised Tae Tae that I will organize a date for us, when we are back in Korea, so that is what I am doing right now.

I am already so excited, and I have to say I am pretty proud of my plan.

It was a beautiful Saturday, the weather was perfect for what I planned and nothing could go wrong.
I left a handwriting letter on Tae's bad, with the address and some other instructions.
We would meet in the evening.

The sun was about to go down as I finished my preparation, I only have to buy one last thing and then I am good to go.

On my way to the shop, I feel like someone was following me, so I quickened my pace.
I don't know why but I had a bad feeling.

Taehyung POV

I was a bouncing ball of happiness as I made my way to the restaurant, as I read the letter Jin left for me, I recognized the address by instant.

It was the restaurant where we had our first kiss.

Flashback:
I couldn't believe what we were doing but it felt so good, so we continue.

Jin put his hand on my thigh and I lead mine through his beautiful brown hair.

It all felt so natural when our kisses deepened, we both knew we wanted it.

Even without the alcohol, it would have happened at some point.

Back then we were both pretty drunk.
I giggled at the thought of that evening.
How funny that one event can change your whole life.
At that moment it was not as clear to me as now.
I had no idea that that one kiss would lead to this.

I had no idea that one day I would kiss him, let alone that I can call him my boyfriend now.

I was happy about that night and about all the other moments we share together.

I was torn out of my thoughts as the taxi finally arrived at its destination.
As I got out of the car, I adjusted my clothes and went in.

It was already dark, but the stars lit the sky just like last time when we were here.  

A waitress led me up to the roof terrace and closed the door behind me again, so now I was alone on the terrace.

It was so beautiful, the stars were shining but what take my breath away was the millions of fairy lights that illuminate the place and on top of that flowers placed everywhere.

Only one table was placed, right in the middle with another letter and a little box on its side.
I stepped closer to read the letter.

"My dearest Voo,

may this evening bright up your life like you did with mine.
You mean the world to me and when I am your moon,
you are my stars and the whole galaxy.
I truly love you. Even if I can't show you my love at any time,
be sure there isn't a minute that I don't think about you.
I hope we are forever connected by this, open it and see for yourself.

Truly yours Jin"

After I read the letter, I carefully took the box and opened it.
In it was a beautiful bracelet.
It was a red ribbon with a small crescent moon attached to it.
It was shining like the real moon and truly beautiful, my one little moon.

According to an old Chinese legend, Yue Lao, a deity of marriage and love, ties a red cord around the wrist of every newborn baby on the first night.
He attaches the other end to his soulmate.
Through this thread of fate, the two people are forever connected.
They are meant to meet at some point and will never get lost.

So, this gift was not just a bracelet, but the belief in our fade together.
A small tear escaped my eyes at the thought of Jin and our destiny. 

Its slowly started to get late and I am starting to get worried, because Jin still don't show up to our date.
I've been waiting here for over an hour and it's so atypical for him to be late, especially on an evening like this.

I called him for the 7th time, but he just didn't answer.

Jin POV

Its dark, so dark.
The room is ice cold, and I could hear nothing expect for a phone that rang somewhere in the distance.

The rope around me cut into my skin and did a good job of tying me to the chair.

I couldn't really see much of my surroundings before my eyes were blindfolded.
I was trembling from the cold and fucking terrified because of what was about to happen.

I don't know how this evening could go so wrong!

I'm back from the dead (again).
Sorry guys, I had a month-long internship in a primary school and that really got me down XD

Now i have some time again, I hope you'all are still around.
