Ch.5

For the last two days Reki has been successful in avoiding all questions Langa threw at him regarding the words Jack said. He noticed that the bluenette was getting frustrated with him avoiding his questions but he didn't really know how to navigate the topic so opted to avoid it as a whole

Tonight was the big night,it was the night where the race between Langa and Adam was taking place. Reki came over to witness it to see for himself what Langa will do matched up against Adam. Unfortunately for him he had a certain person bugging him for a match every single second

"Can you shut up?" Reki asked while placing his fingers in his ears in order to cut the noise coming out of Jack which was no use to he gave up right after trying

"I'll shut up when you agree to my challenge" Jack stated

"You're a million years too early so leave me alone" Reki stated

"I beat one of your records so that has to mean something" Jack stated

"Nope doesn't mean a single thing to me" reki said

"Come on! You're being so unfair!" Jack said while pouting

"Too bad" reki said sticking his tongue out at Jack

"What will it take for you to agree? Give me any challenge I'll do it" Jack said

"Well.." reki said while going deep in thought, thinking of a challenge to give Jack so he'll stop bugging the heck out of him

"I got it, beat him, him, him, him and him in that exact order then I will 100% agree to your challenge" Reki said point at shadow, then Miya followed by Langa, Joe and Cherry

"You just want me to fail!" Jack stated while looking outraged by Reki's request

"Well I do need to know if you're worth my time, so show me you fangs little genius" Reki said while grinning

"Don't call me that!" Jack yelled while glaring at Reki

"Then what do you want me to call you?" Reki asked

"Jack or summer, those are the only two names I'll allow anyone to call me" Jack stated

"Whatever you say summer boy" Reki teased

"Don't add boy at the end!" Jack said "that stupid challenge of yours, I'll do it and complete it in three days. So that means I challenge you and you to a beef, tomorrow I challenge you and you and on the third day I'll challenge you" he stated pointing at Shadow and Miya then he pointed at Langa and Joe, lastly he pointed at cherry

"You're an interesting kid, sure I'll accept your challenge" joe said while grinning

"I shall accept as well, I'd like to see why you're so confident in your abilities" Cherry said

"Bring it on pipsqueak, I'll crush you like a little bug you are" shadow stated

"I'm interested in the challenge so I'll accept as well" Miya said

"I'm in too" Langa said

"Awesome, that settles it. If you defeat all of them then I'll have a match against you, next week Friday at 11pm" Reki said "do you best, little genius"

"Stop calling me little!" Jack yelled

"You have a short fuse don't you cha?" Reki asked in a teasing manner

"Shut up! You just irritate the heck out of me" Jack pointed out

"Sure sure" Reki said dismissively

"Langa, the day has finally come. Let's have a beautiful match" Adam said making his appearance

"Yes" Langa simply said turning his attention to Adam

"Let's not wait any longer and get this race going" Adam said

"I agree" Langa said walking over to the start line, he glanced at reki for a bit before focusing on the road ahead of him. The race began, Adam and Langa made their through the race course, Reki just stared at the screen showing the match with a frown on his face

"I don't really like the way that guy skates" jack stated

"So you noticed it too?" Reki asked

"Yeah, his style of skating is simply disgusting, he need a slice of humble pie" Jack said

"What are you two talking about?" Joe asked

"Adam is the best one here so I don't understand what you are saying about the way he skateboard" Miya said

"Can you guy elaborate on what you're saying?" Cherry asked

"Looks like your lover is head over heels that kind of skating" Jack commented throwing a jab at Reki while ignoring everyone else's questions

"He's not my lover" Reki simply said

"Are you sure because to me it looks like you're not so keen to see the excitement on his face" Jack said almost mocking

"Langa is simply a person who I kept around to bring excitement to my skateboarding, nothing more, nothing less" Reki stated

"You're such a big fat liar, it's obvious that you like that guy. That's why you kept him around despite him being a complete novices, you fell in love with the pure nature of his skateboarding and you fell in love with him as a person" Jack pointed out

"What!?" Everyone asked

"Has anyone ever told you that you're annoying?" Reki asked glaring at Jack

"You're the only one" Jack said

"Well you're freaking annoying, a lot of people should tell you that" Reki said turn away from the screen that shower Adam and Langa passing the finish line at different times

"I feel bad for that guy, he's about to get kicked out the wonderful garden of Eden just because he became an eve to Adam" Jack said while knowing that Reki was going to confront Adam and Langa "how sad it must be to let go of the one you came to love"

"What's that supposed to mean?" Miya asked

"Nothing" Jack commented while he had a knowing smile plastered on his lips

"Reki" Langa said spotting reki who stopped in front of him and Adam, Langa held excitement all over his face but that excitement immediately mellowed down when he noticed the less than friendly expression on Reki's face "what's wrong?"

"Langa you have turned into an Eve, and because of that you have lost all favour with me, so from now on I want nothing to do with you" Reki commented

"W-what?" Langa asked looking very shocked, the excitement that he felt a second ago all completely disappeared

"Adam, your skateboarding is nothing but a lost cause. I know it and you know it that's why you've been searching for an eve right?" Reki asked pointing out that Adam's skateboarding is nothing but hideous and passionless similar to his skateboarding but the different was Adam's skateboarding held an air of arrogance and superiority despite it being a complete lost cause that's why he felt disgusted and annoyed with the way Adam skated.

Adam looked surprised for a bit before he started laughing "who are you?" He asked the question looking serious

"Who I am is none of your business, I'll be on my way now. I have two matched I have to witness" reki said before walking, he ignored everything Langa was saying in the process

"Don't worry Langa, I'll make sure to take care of him. I'll become his new spark" Jack stated while smirking, he was now well aware of what reki has been up to the last three years due to extensive research he had to do on Reki the last two days.

"What?" Langa asked clearly shell shocked
