Ch.6

"Reki!!! You better be watching, I'm going to show you how cool I am" Jack yelled out

"Don't get cocky you little brat, if you think I'll let you win just like that then you must be delusional" Shadow stated as he glared at Jack

"We'll see about that...loser" Jack simply said as he popped a lollipop in his mouth "let's get this over with, I don't want to waste more of my time on you" he said as he got on top of his skateboard

"You'll regret those words you little brat" shadow grumbled as he got on his skateboard as well

"Are you ready!?" One of the member yelled out loud as he stood between the two so that he could start the match

"Yes!" The crowd cheered while shadow took the time to glare at Jack, on the other hand Jack was sucking on his lollipop without a care in the world while his eyes were focused on the skate course ahead

"3! 2! 1! GO!" The person yelled signalling for the two to start the race

"See ya...loser" Jack said as he skated ahead

"You brat!" Shadow yelled as he followed

While that was happening, Reki was standing at a spot that didn't have a lot of people around but had a good view of what was happening down below

"Wow, look at that...the little genius has something to him" Reki mumbled to himself as he witnessed Jack do a borderline dangerous trick in order to rub his skills all over shadow's face who was trailing behind him

"I guess you weren't all talk but you'll have to do better than that in order to catch my interest, little genius" Reki mumbled as he turned his back to the show happening below and started heading for the exit, he didn't need to stay in order to know who was going to be prosperous one out of the two matches Jack was having today

"Not so fast there, we have to talk" Joe stated as he hanged his arm around reki's shoulder and stopped him in his tracks

"Can't this wait for tomorrow? It's late and I have school tomorrow" Reki said

"No can do, you have to get your package before you leave. You can't leave it here just like that and I'm sure you have something important to tell him" Joe said as he pointed behind him while removing his arm off reki's shoulder, reki noticed Joe's pointing so he turned around to see Langa standing there beside cherry

"Your little angel is sulking, I think you broke his precious heart and I can't stand by and watch that" cherry said in order to lighten up the heavy mood that became evident around them once reki made eye contact with langa

"Be a man and apologize, there's no need for you to be so jealous of Langa liking another person other than you" Joe whispered into reki's ear which earned him a punch

"I'll never be jealous of that guy, NEVER!" Reki angry stated before he he turned around and quickly made his way out the area

Joe was about to go after him in order to bring him back but he got stopped by Langa "there's no need to trouble yourself with my problems Joe, I'll find a way to have reki's forgiveness" he mumbled

"But like you didn't do anything wrong to begin with" cherry stated as he looked a bit confused to why Langa would want to apologize to reki when it's supposed to be the other way round

"It was my fault that he got angry at me, so I have to be the one who fix this" Langa said

"I'm not sure if you're naive or just plain dumb in this situation" cherry commented still very much confused to why Langa was willing to go to such great lengths over someone who got angry at him for a trivial reason as enjoying skating with another person

"Why are you willing to go to such lengths for someone who got angry at you for such a trivial reason as enjoying skating with another person" Jack said out loud the very thing that were going through cherry's head "I can totally read you like an open book but you know, people are allowed to feel their own way even if it concerns petty things"

"It's you" cherry and Joe said as they turned to look at jack who was accompanied by shadow who was fuming and Miya who had a frown on his lips

"Sup reki's friends, and where is reki himself?" Jack asked

"He left" Joe said while pointing at the gate

"Aww man, I knew I shouldn't have let him walk off like that" Jack grumbled as ruffled his hair in frustration

"What up with you and reki? Why are you so obsessed with him?" Miya question as he found it very weird at how different Jack would act when it comes to topics concerning reki

"I'm his future lover" Jack proudly stated only to receive weirded out expressions from everyone

"Doesn't he have something going on with langa?" Miya questioned once again

"I don't mind being his second love or better yet, I can just get rid of his first choice and have him all go myself" Jack said as he turned to look at langa with a mocking gaze as an awkward silence took over, everyone was unsure as to how to respond to jack's words

"I'm just kidding" Jack said as he started laughing but everyone still maintained their unsure gazes as they watched Jack laugh at his own supposed joke before he become serious once again "all I need to do is show reki that I'm the better choice for him after that you'll become nothing but history to him"

"Is that another joke?" Joe questioned

"No, I'm serious this time around so mr langa, you better count your hours because tomorrow you'll be nothing to reki after I win our race" Jack proudly stated as he headed for the exit

Leaving everyone in shock at how straightforward and shameless he was being.
