Chapter 49 - The day

You slowly opened your eyes as you sensed a soft breathing against your skin. You glanced at a peacefully sleeping Sukuna, hugging you around your waist and having his leg tangled with yours. You had to smile at his so cute looking face. He had his mouth slightly opened and his expression was relaxed. You gently nudged him and kissed him on the nose, bringing him to open his eyes and looking at you. He blushed slightly and let out a soft growl, turning his face on the other side. "How dare you to wake me up...little doll." he mumbled and you chuckled as you sat up and stretched yourself. "You're right that it's early...but you still have something to do." You said and he sat up as well, his expression more serious now. "You're right...I need to fight this kid...I hope I don't accidentally kill him." he sighed and you shook your head.

"I refuse to let you kill him...even though you're both not getting along very well I still want you to spare him." You said with a very serious look. "Yeah...fine I'll injure him enough so that he learns his lesson." he said as he stood up, walking into the bathroom.

He refreshed himselfs and changed in his usual clothing. His muscular chest was sticking out and his tattoos toned his abs even more. You couldn't stop yourself from taking a good glance and Sukuna seemed to be very amused by your behavior. While you were changing into a beautiful Kimono, he sneaked some kisses onto your cheek and lips as you were changing. In addition he couldn't hold himself back from touching your body and roam his hand over it.

After going downstairs some guards were already waiting. "We are going to bring you into the arena." Guard one said and you nod. You grabbed Sukunas hand and weaved your finger in his, squeezing his hand and smiling softly at him. You two started to follow the guards which led you out of the fortress, into the village. There was a small arena in the center, made for prisoners to fight and to entertain the people.

It was festively decorated and a crowd of people were waiting in front of it, waiting desperately to finally get in and safe themselves a nice viewpoint . They didn't seem to notice you two, since you used a small side gate and also disguised yourself with a cloth to not get recognized that easily. Arriving in the underground of the arena you turned to Sukuna.

You gave him a kiss and spoke. "Stay safe...please don't overdo yourself...you're still weakened and don't kill him!" you demanded and he just rolled his eyes. "Yeah babe don't worry about me." he said smirking as he sneaked one last kiss onto your cheek before you both got separated.

You got brought onto a podium where your father was already sitting. You sat down beside him and sighed, crossing your legs and glancing down at the arena, searching Sukuna. After about thirty minutes the arena was full and every last seat was taken, the spectator began to speak and announced the fight between Sukuna and Yuu. "Are you all ready for the amazing fight between curse and human?!" And with that simple sentence the people were shouting and whistling out in excitement.

The crowd didn't seem to noticed you beside your father which was good, since you wanted to stay hidden. They did in fact, reacted negative about hearing the name Sukuna but welcomed the name Yuu quite cheerful. It was obvious who they were cheering for. But you knew that your Sukuna was going to win this.

Sukuna and Yuu finally entered the arena and you saw, how each of them walked into the middle from the opposite side. Sukuna winked at you and you blushed, glancing away for a second. Yuu weaved at you and you weaved back, earning a death glare from Sukuna. You already knew what's going to happen to you after this...You sighed and the spectator started to talk again.

"Let the fight begin in 3...2...1.."
