Roger was an idiot. He had no clue who he was missing out on by cheating on Janet. She was perfect in every way, she was kind where it mattered, funny enough to make me laugh which is something very few could do, and beautiful. She was the best friend I could have asked for.

I would bend over backwards to make sure she was ok. After I hung up my phone call with her where she was telling me about Roger cheating I felt a rage of fury. If it weren't for the fact of me knowing it was Janet's house I would break into their house and shoot him on the face and an area where it would really hurt.

I looked through my windows trying to see Janet. I finally spotted her sitting by herself, the wind was blowing through her short blonde hair making it look completely crazy.

"Janet! What are you waiting for? Get in!" I aggressively shouted at her. She smiled and walked to the passenger seat of my car.

Janet slid in to the seat beside me beginning to comb down her hair.

"Thanks. I didn't know if I'd have anywhere to stay so I left Riley with Roger. I needed to know she'd have a nice warm bed to sleep in." She stared out the window into oblivion.

"It's alright Janet. Roger is blind if he chooses other girls over you." I tried to reassure her, it seemed too sweet, unlike my usual personality, but every word I was saying was completely true. We sat in silence as I drove us home.

"I forgot to tell the kids I was going to get you!" I screamed. I sped up the car hoping they would not go insane without me. Misha and Sergei might not have chill parents, they had me who would beat them if I ever found out they put a foot out of line but they were toddlers so they were bound to get into a bit of trouble.

When me and Janet arrived home Sergei was sitting in our main room reading a book.

"Where is Misha." I looked him over with a side eye.

"Umm, Misha... is busy... what do you need mother," Sergei responded.

"What is Misha doing? Be a good boy or you will both have the same punishment," I growled glancing over to my room.

"He is in room sleeping I think. Right Misha?" He shouted. I rolled my eyes and wandered into his room. Like Sergei said, Misha was snuggled tightly into bed.

"I have no clue what is going on but we are going to bed. I love you Sergei, don't stay up too late." I walked over to him pecking him on his forehead.

"да. Goodnight mother." He hugged me tightly.

I walked into my room with Janet. I pulled open my closet and grabbed out two oversized tee shirts. I threw one behind me beginning to pull off my shirt when I realized Janet was still standing there.

"I'll go to the washroom. I'll knock before I come back," Janet told me. I waited until she fully closed the door then slipped into the tee shirt. The black looked great on my caramel coloured hair, plus it was one of the baggier ones which meant I looked both great and comfortable.

I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in Janet. I am fully dressed." I shouted back. She entered the room looking gorgeous. I had given her my
P!nk shirt to wear. I didn't expect her to look this pretty, she was a girl, girl's look good in the friend way not in the Misha and Sergei's Dad way.

"P!nk huh? Never thought you'd be a fan of hers," Janet chuckled breaking the silence.

"It's not typically me but her music sounds good. I like that one song, 'I'm coming up so you better the party started.'" I began to sing. Putting the thoughts of how pretty she looked out of my head.

"Ha. Me and Riley were just listening to that song the other day. Well actually we were listening to the Kidz Bop version. Still, at least she let me put on something other than frozen am I right?" She lightly chuckled to herself. We climbed into bed together, Janet instantly fell asleep.

I twisted and turned thinking about everything. I glanced over at Janet. Carol had talked about how kids often had sleepovers with friends when they were younger. I never did. Sleepovers were supposed to be a monumental moment in one's life. When I told her they sounded like a hookup she'd awkwardly laughed explaining sleepovers were for friends. This was one of those, it was only a sleepover with a friend.

I've been so excited to publish this part all week!!!!
