I don't own Naruto or any of the characters in this story.

Naruto's POV

"What do you mean about that?" I asked surprisingly, realising that Gaara, the most quiet person he's ever made, is asking him a question.

Gaara was going to answer my rhetorical question when Hinata and Iniko came out the room and told us the news about Liana.

I knew she was more upset than me, she treated Liana like her little sister she never had. She always looked so happy with her and now she's going to pass away in a few days.

"I'm so sorry Hinata-Can but Iniko is right, we should spend as much as we can," I said softly, rubbing circles on her back. She only nodded quietly, looking at the ground as if it was the most beautiful thing in the world.

So that's what we did, we spend every single day together until the final day came. When Liana looked very pale and started coughing up blood, we knew something was wrong and called the healer.

"There's nothing I can do, she going to go tonight," The old man leaving, saying that he was going to plan the funeral leaving me with Hinata-Can crying buckets.

"Mummy, Mummy! What is happening to me" Liana cried, coughing up more blood.

Hours Later

Hinata went to take a nap with Liana but a few minutes later she came out and shook her head, holding her tears back.

We called the Healer and we did the ceremony, everyone in the village had their own separate moments with Liana, from stealing from shops to helping out neighbours.

After we all said our last words, we immediately left the village, leaving memories behind....

The Next Day

Gaara's POV

We walked through some town when something caught my attention, a poster. It said 'Chunin Exam! For children from 12 years old to 18 years old in the Leaf Village!'

"Naruto, isn't that the village you and Hinata came from," I asked.

Naruto turn to the poster and gave it a good stare with a serious face on before smiling, saying, "Yeah it is Gaara,"

Nevertheless one minute the poster on the wall and the next minute it's in Naruto's hand, being stuffed into his pocket as he was catching up to the girls who forgot about us.

Hmm that was strange of Naruto to do something like that, I thought but I quickly dismissed it as I was getting left behind.

Eventually we finished all of the nessesery items to keep us up for a week, we exited the village and headd into the woods again before Naruto shouted with the same poster now in his hands, "Alright! We're going to the Chunin Exam!"

"But aren't you supposed to train for that kind of Exam," Iniko asked curiously.

"Iniko is right Naruto-kun and we don't even have a mentor to teach us anything either," Hinata commented quietly.

"I could take that place if you want..." A voice came from up above and I felt a presence behind me. How do I not sense his chakra, I thought as I span around to see...

Hey guys as you can see the Chunin Exam is coming up as you all requested but who that guy... Anyways bye! 🥰🥰
