I Trust You

I don't own Naruto or any characters in this story because I'm too stupid.

Nahiko's POV

Where has he gone now, that boy is a whole damn puzzle, you just don't know what to do next. He reminds me of- never mind....

Suddenly there was an explosion close by, destroying anything 15 meter radius as well as the trees, leaving a big dirt hole. I could see there was a fight going on and I was about leave the scene to find Gaara when, there he was and looked exhausted.

Quickly taking my kunai out, I swiftly made my way behind the ninja and sliced his neck, ending his life in seconds though Gaara looked worse, passing out however I caught him just in time.

"Gaara, Gaara, can you hear me!" I shouted, shaking his shoulders with force but there wasn't reaction out of it. The fight must have taken a lot out of him as he laid in my arms lifelessly.

As I could sense other chakra signals coming to the scene, I quickly set Gaara on my back and headed off back to the cottage.

Concentrating on our way home, I didn't see a kunai flying straight to my forehead until the sand from Gaara's gourd, blocking the attack and many more too. It eventually separated from its user to finish off the enemy, ending it with a loud cry before returning back to their owner.

"Well, that's something to get used to," I said, making it to the camp.

"Nahiko-sama! You're back! Where's- Gaara!" Naruto called out, meeting in front of the cottage with the others.

"He's okay, he just need some rest, he was fighting a ninja from Kumogakure, I think they will  find this place soon so we will have to pack up and leave as soon as possible," I informed seriously, strapping Gaara on my back with a piece of cloth and starting stuffing the most important items for the journey....

Gaara's POV

What- where am I? Did I get captured, no i would have been dead then, I thought sleepily, slowly raising my head up.

"Oh, so you're finally awake huh? You gave me a scare," The soft voice came from the place I was laying on, it was Nahiko with a big smile that kind of reminded me of Yashamaru. I remember he saying something about having a parent making you feel safe, is this what he meant...

"I- I'm sorry, I didn't mean to!-" I said apologetically before being cut off again by another smile before there was silence for the whole journey...

Unknown to Gaara was that the rest of the teammates were watching in awe, seeing Gaara's sleepy face was so cute and squishy like dango though they couldn't help but giggle at the situation of their teacher and their friend.... 

So guys, next chapter will be the last part for the training before they are heading to the Chunin exam, there is going to be a small timelapse, about one year so Naruto and Hinata are going to be a bit older. Bye!!
