Sleeping Problems

Naruto's POV

We got Gaara and now we're going to a different location to finish our training, well more like Gaara's training since he hasn't been doing anything with Nahiko recently but we stick together, because we're a team!

"Oh, so you're finally awake huh? You gave me a scare,"

"I- I'm sorry, I didn't mean to!-"

I must have zoned out as I realized everyone was laughing at Gaara's cute sleepy face. I joined in jist to not make any suspicions of me.

"Here we are!" Nahiko exclaimed, going to a halt in front of a big building, like an inn but smaller. At that same time, a young woman walked out of the hotel and looked at our direction.

"Is that you Nahi!" The woman yelled happily, running over to stand in front of us.

"Yes it's me Hanito, can you let us stay for a while here, will be gone for you know it okay," Nahiko asked politely, setting Gaara down on the ground.

The lady didn't even hesitate to give us a key to a room for four people, it was cozy enough to live for a couple of weeks but we knew we were going to leave soon.

"We should go to sleep now, tomorrow the three of you will continue your training while I work on Gaara's training," With that everyone was fast asleep, including me....

Nahiko's POV

I was in patrol, relaxing and feeling the gentle air flow through me and around the room, sensing all of the chakra in the room but one of them didn't slow down to its sleeping pace.

Still awake, but why? Does he still not trust me. I thought as I kept looking at Gaara, who had sat upright but didn't notice my gaze.

"Ah, damnit!" I burst out in a loud whisper. "Gaara!"

Gaara turned around, and saw me beckoning him over from the open window. Understanding quickly, he grabbed his blanket and crawled over to sit next to him.

"What," he whispered back, now sitting beside me.

You weren't sleeping." Naruto muttered back. There was silence for a moment before Gaara spoke.

"It's because of my tailed beast, it will get out of control when I go to sleep," Gaara said simply, looking at the shiny moon.

"Nahiko-San," Gaara whispered suddenly that I almost didn't get it at first.

"Yes Gaara," I replied, looking the boy to see him drifting off to sleep.

"Can I lean on you? I feel tired now,"

"Gaara-" I froze, looking at the dark shadows underneath Gaara's eyes that were clearly visible on his moonlit features.

"Fine, just this once okay," I teased slightly as Gaara inched closer and leaned against my side, his eyes closing slowly.

The younger one shifted to make himself more comfortable and covered  himself with the blanket so it covered his knees as well. Soon all breaths fell into a soft one.

Though nothing happened, there was no transformation or any tailed beast, just a sleeping Gaara beside me. Just incase, I thought, doing some quick hand signs before returning to my patrol......
