Hinata Always Loved Naruto ~Naruhina

The First Fight

I don't own any of the characters in the story as Masashi Kishimoto owns it all.

"Fourth up is... Hinata Hyuga vs Neji Hyuga!" The Jōnin announced loudly and my ears perked up at my name being called out.

Looking beside me, I first caught Naruto's gaze and I gave a smile before patting Iniko's shoulder and heading into the center when my cousin, Neji was already waiting for me.

"Long time no see, cousin," Neji said bitterly, taking a step back and was already getting into the Gentle Fist stance. I smiled before going into a stance myself.

"Same to you Neji, hows that Hyuga Main Family Cursed Seal doing for you," I remarked back and Neji got furious, going to the first attack of the match.

As I ran towards him, we started to hit each other on our chakra points but as my chakra control was more perfected, stopping Neji's flow to one of his hands.

Afterwards, Neji made some distance between us to try and catch his breath and everyone was speechless. Neji Hyuga, a genius is being defeated by a traitor...

"Neji, do you want to withdraw from the fight," The Jonin asked after a few seconds of Neji taking his time and he quickly shook his head.

"No! Never!" Neji yelled angrily as he saw me already celebrating with Naruto, who was cheering me on from the railings, "I will not lose to a traitor!" 

Hearing Neji's steps getting closer, I preformed some hands signs and waited until he was closer  despite people yelling at me to turn around.

When he was just about to attack, I dodged it by hitting his hand away with the back of my hand before aiming for Neji's heart.

It was so close until the five Jōnins again trapped me to not move though I could have easily escaped but the fight was already won.

"The winner is Hinata Hyuga!" The commentator yelled and the room became quiet as I stuffed my hands in my pocket and walked up the stairs.

Where Naruto was, he had the biggest smile on while Gaara making a sand medal and Iniko giving me a hug. I felt so happy! One of the people who I despised the most is being taken by a stretcher into the hospital.

"How do you feel Hinata, you said you wanted to beat Neji for so long," Naruto asked brightly and my heart help but skip a beat at the person in front of me.

"It feels nice, thanks for believing in me Naruto," I answered before starting to watch the fights which took longer than me though it was boring.

"I gave my promise to protect you and I will support you Hinata-Chan," Naruto said as a hand slipped onto my shoulder as if to give more comfort.

When about two fights were finished, a boy with a green outfit started to complain of how he hadn't fought yet though it was until the board stopped again on two names.

"Seventh up is... Rock Lee vs Gaara!"
