just as the thoughts got overwhelming, he heard the door opening. probably not the person he wanted to see right now but oh well.

"youngjo?" the person said surprised. when the dark haired male didn't answer the person wondered if something is wrong. "are you okay?"

he didn't answer for a few more seconds, trying to get himself together and not let the slightest bit of his inner breakdown show. he sighed slightly before turning around with a weak smile.

"don't worry, i just got dizzy." with that, youngjo past by hwanwoong and left him confused. the blond male looked up to keonhee who just shrugged his shoulders.

"where did i put this stupid book?" keonhee sighed annoyed as he rummaged in his locker. when he finally found it, he put it into his bag and closed the locker with a little too much force.

"are you mad? it's not the locker's fault, you know?" a sudden voice from behind startled keonhee who immediately turned around. when his eyes met seoho's, his stomach dropped for a second. he caught himself fast again though and just laughed.

"if the locker decides to hide the book i need for my class from me, then yes, it is the locker's fault."

"maybe you should start sorting your books in tidily instead of throwing them in your locker all the time." the orange haired male scoffed and keonhee rolled his eyes. he knew seoho was right but would he ever admit that? no.

both of them walked outside side by side, a semi-awkward silence lingering in the air as their feet dragged them to the spot they'd all sit at sometimes and let themselves drop down on the grass. keonhee leaned against the tree that was throwing a wide shadow on the grass and seoho rested his arm on his knee, his eyes nervously ghosting over the taller's body before averting his gaze. they exchanged a glance here and there but none of them dared to say something... that was until keonhee had enough of this awkward silence.

"so..."

"hm?" seoho immediately answered to the not yet finished sentence and felt a little embarrassed because it gave away how excited he got over keonhee finally starting a conversation. their eyes locked and both of them suddenly started blushing a faint shade of red, a chuckle leaving keonhee's lips in the process.

"god, this is so awkward." he mumbled and seoho couldn't help but chuckle too, agreeing with what keonhee said.

"well, how were you doing once i..."

"once you left? i woke up and took a shower, then texted you. nothing worth talking about."

"ah. so you were doing okay, right?" keonhee said carefully, trying to hint something seoho exactly knew what that was about.

"i mean, it felt a little weird after you left, i won't lie." he answered and keonhee eyed him suspiciously.

"oh... so you were disappointed?" he said a little discouraged and clicked his tongue. "that can happen i guess."

just in the moment seoho was about to say something, his phone rang. he answered the call and only a few seconds later he hung up again, telling the person on the call he'd be there soon. he looked up to keonhee who was still looking at him with an expression seoho couldn't read. the orange haired male smiled and shook his head.

"not at all. if anything, i was disappointed because you were gone when i woke up."

keonhee nodded. even though he probably shouldn't think too much into it, he was glad to hear seoho wasn't disappointed by the time they spent together on saturday... but somehow he couldn't fully believe his words. seoho noticed the way keonhee was still in slight disbelief so he decided to say something else, something that would've probably not even been necessary to say and it did cost seoho a little push to say it but then he finally built up enough confidence. he got up, grabbed his bag and was getting ready to leave.
