the sunlight shining through the window softly kissed hwanwoong's face, the bright rays causing him to wake up and he groaned silently while stretching his body. when the events of the night before flashed through his head, he immediately opened his eyes to check if all of it wasn't just a nice dream. he sat up and once the blur dissolved from his eyes and he let his gaze wander around the room a little, he realized that he was indeed laying in youngjo's bed and a satisfied smile appeared on his lips. when he turned his head to his left, he saw the taller was still sleeping. due to his position his cheek was squished so his lips were slightly parted, giving him an extra cute look. hwanwoong giggled quietly as he took the view in, still not used to the thought the male that was currently sleeping beside him was now his boyfriend.

the blond male decided to get up and go to the bathroom first, doing usual things like washing his face and brushing his teeth. but there was a little problem, hwanwoong obviously didn't bring a toothbrush. he eyed the toothpaste and his finger and shrugged. this will do too, at least for now.

after awkwardly 'brushing' his teeth, he rinsed the rest of the toothpaste off his hand and made his way to the kitchen to drink some water since his throat kind of felt dry. when he swallowed the water he slightly cringed, only now noticing how much his throat actually hurt. first he was confused but then he remembered the fact they were standing in a thunderstorm yesterday and he figured his body just reacted to that now. when the memories filled hwanwoong's head, he blushed a little. the kiss yesterday was so different from the first and second one they shared because the third one was sincere and real... and most importantly the first kiss after confessing to each other.

he smiled when the memory of youngjo kissing him again after drying his hair popped up in his head, how he called him beautiful and also the part in which he asked the smaller to be his boyfriend. the blond male really felt an overwhelming amount of happiness as the evening replayed in his head and he was happy how things turned ever since keonhee's birthday. even though there have been some ups and downs, they led them to what they are now so hwanwoong appreciated every single moment and if he had to relive all of it again just to finally get together with youngjo, he would do it in a heartbeat.

hwanwoong pulled out a mug from the kitchen cupboard and then let his eyes wander around in hopes to find some teabags somewhere but he didn't really end up finding some. maybe he just doesn't have tea at home?

hwanwoong was so busy searching that he didn't notice how someone else joined the kitchen. he got startled, inhaled sharply and twitched slightly when youngjo slowly sneaked his hands around hwanwoong's waist and hugged him from behind, his chin resting on the smaller's shoulder for a few seconds without saying a word. the blond male tried to calm his heartbeat down again and his tensed up muscles seemed to soften under youngjo's touch but the closeness of their faces made it almost impossible for hwanwoong's heart to calm down.

"good morning." he said, his voice sounding a little raspy. hwanwoong's nose witnessed a faint minty scent, indicating youngjo had already brushed his teeth too. how did i not hear him?

the blond male turned around in a swift motion and youngjo's hands still remained on hwanwoong's waist, both now staring into each other's eyes. "good morning. you really are a cat, huh? i didn't even hear you coming."

"did i scare you?" youngjo asked with smile on his face.

"a little."

"are you searching for something?" the taller noticed when walking in that hwanwoong's eyes wandered around the kitchen and the smaller nodded in response.

"do you have tea? my throat hurts a little..."

youngjo then let go of his boyfriend's waist and walked over to where he kept the tea, pulling a teabag out and scratched the back of his head as he showed it to hwanwoong. "i only have one flavor because i'm not really a tea drinker as you know..."
