....

I...

I have hands.

Human hands.

And arms. And legs. And feet.

I'm a human now.
I'm not the Wall of Flesh. I'm a human.

But..... why? What did I do? Is this a dream? Do I even sleep? Do I even have dreams?

...

Cthulhu...

Is this... because of the deal..? I failed to do it..? No, I didn't fail to do it. I never even tried to do it. This is my punishment in return.

I turned around and saw the dungeon where Lunatic Cultist and his Cultists were. I immediately headed there to ask him about what the hell happened to me.

"Lunatic Cultist!" I yelled "Come out! You have some explaining to do!"

The Cultists looked at me, then at their leader, Lunatic Cultist. He lowered his head and sighed, then looked up at me. "Wall of Flesh, is it?" He asked.
"Yes. What the hell is this human body about?"
"You're under a curse. A curse by me. You betrayed Cthulhu and you were punished."

I looked around, then back at LC.

"...It wasn't a betrayal, I just didn't accept a deal," I denied.
"No, you did accept it, but you didn't do as you said you would. Therefore you betrayed Cthulhu, just not in a traditional manner," LC explained. I paused, and looked back at my hands.
"I'm... a human.. forever?" I asked.

Lunatic Cultist did his echoey laugh.

"You can return to being Wall of Flesh by being killed," he replied.

Well, looks like this curse ain't staying for long. How dumb. I thought, beginning to exit the dungeon. I'll just go jump off a cliff into lava or something. Is there even any lava up here?

"By another human," LC finished. I paused in my tracks and turned around.

"...So if I jump off a cliff, it won't work?"
"Nope, you don't feel pain from anything that isn't a human. And deep down inside, you aren't a human, and you therefore do not feel pain from yourself."

Wait... but I've never met another human... I thought, slightly panicked Will I ever meet one? Am I.. am I a human forever?

Week 3 of being a human. It's not nice. I'm not enjoying it.

I was sat down by a tree, looking at the bunnies. They were minding their own business, as usual. It was kind of funny to think that they didn't know the Wall of Flesh was looking at them right now.

Am I even correct to call myself "Wall of Flesh"? I'm probably never gonna become that thing again, and it seems to have been removed from everyone's history books.

I suddenly flinched from a noise.

"Hello? Are you my guide?"

I stared up at the voice owner. It was a human boy. He had a copper axe and from the background, he looked to have been chopping down trees.

"....Your guide?" I repeated.
"Yeah, some dude's supposed to show up on my arrival here and tell me advice about stuff. I'm assuming it's you, since there's no one else around," he explained.

I stood up and looked around. I did know a lot about the world, but should I be telling this stranger about it?

I suddenly had a realisation.

Today... today is the day I become Wall of Flesh again. This boy... he can kill me. He's a human. He can end my life.

...Jokes on you, Lunatic Cultist, I found my ticket back to hell.

"Do you.. think you could... murder me?" I asked. He gave me a puzzled look. "Do you think I could what?"
"Murder me."
"What? Speak up, I can't hear what you're saying."

I shared the same look as him.

"I said, could you murder me?" I repeated.
"Is this a joke? I legit cannot hear a thing you're saying."

I blinked. Why couldn't he hear me? What happens if I tell him that I'm the Wall of Flesh?

"...Did you know I'm the Wall of Flesh?" I asked. The boy huffed. "Jeez, Terrarians are weird. Can you finish your sentences or what?" He complained.

Suddenly, I realised what was going on.

Lunatic Cultist made it so humans couldn't hear anything I say about murdering me or the Wall of Flesh.

Maybe today isn't the day. But if this boy stays by my side... he could eventually help me come back to my true form... but I have to help him in return. Oh well, what harm could it do?

I coughed.

"Sorry about that. Um, what's your name?" I began.
"Player."
"Player, right... well do you uh, know how to build a house?"
"Yes, and you're gonna live with me. Okay?"

Perfect. I thought.

"Uh, okay, yes. That's fine," I clarified.
"Alright," Player ended, as he rushed behind me and cut down some more trees.

Should I do something about that? I thought again Can I even do something about that?
