To me, Wattpad authors have written some of the greatest books I've ever read. These books will make you laugh, cry, and fall in love. (*cough cough* HGB in 4.1)
Anyway, here are my two recommendations for this month's Delilah's Den!
We Are Never Getting Back Together by SummerDarcyWrites!
Synopsis:
Quinn has big plans to launch her own nutrition counseling business. But first, she'll have to survive a week of hosting her town's annual festival with her ex.
*****
Could Quinn Kelley's summer be more stressful? She's trying to complete her nutrition certification, so she can launch her own business and help other people with chronic health conditions. And if all that wasn't enough, her ex-boyfriend just came back to town for the first time in years. Quinn would have been perfectly happy to continue pretending Ty Rossi doesn't exist. But when their mutual friend has a family emergency and has to leave town suddenly, Quinn and Ty are left in charge of Rosedale's week-long Founder's Festival. If they can survive an entire week of co-hosting events without murdering each other, it'll be a miracle. Their tempers ignite like flames set to paper anytime they're together. The more time she spends with Ty, though, the more Quinn questions if all those sparks are fueled entirely by hate.
Review:
This book was like a Hallmark movie, but better. Quinn and Ty were EXTREMELY adorable, and I cried several times (shhh). The characters were amazing and incredibly detailed. I loved how the author included chronic illnesses in there, a life experience that was similar to her own; it gave the book much more depth. The romance wasn't too piled on, but it wasn't lacking either: the amount was just right. Rosedale was so real, it felt as if I could hop in my car and order someone to drive me there. The whole book was beautiful and kept me on my toes. It's no wonder that it won the 2020 Watty Awards.

Synopsis:
Your enemies are not who you think.
-----
The Elven Commander despises humans to his core, making it his mission to wipe the earth clean of the species that his beloved had belonged to. The final straw, the one that sends him over the edge he has been riding since his lovers death, is the appearance of humans with Elven powers. Powers belonging to his people, not the filth his daughter decides to save from his blade.
Follow seven young teens as they try to master their newfound powers and escape the clutches of a man who wants them dead and their powers. . . for himself.

Review: This book is probably one of my favorite Wattpad fantasy novels. The characters are fresh and original, and the worldbuilding is excellent (if you continue to read these weekly segments, you will know that worldbuilding is the number one thing I look for in a fantasy novel). The cast is big, yet Rev makes them each unique, leaving every single one of them memorable... even after you spend four hours and twenty five minutes poring through every chapter. This book always left me on my toes and I was anxious for more as every chapter went by.
