Blind Colors(Tododeku)

On that day I learned the consequences I would face from being arrogant.In thinking this gift.This power I have.Would grow and make me grow along side it.Like the roaring flame of this great power couldn't be blown away.

I learned this lesson...on that faithful day where I learned about the darkness that could cloud my world's color.And snuff out any hope that I clung to.And that would succeed in crushing my fragile dreams.

"-riya!Midoriya!!!"I heard someone scream my name.I jumped up looking around to see Todoroki looking at me with a worried expression.

"Haha, sorry w-were you saying something?"I asked a nervous laugh escaping my throat in the process.

"Are you okay Midoriya?We have to head to the training grounds but you seemed out of it,"He said as he sighed.

"Ah!Sorry!,"I said as I found that most of our classmates were gone."I guess we should go then, huh?"I asked and Todoroki nodded.His face still looked worried even when I stood from my seat and walked with him to the locker rooms.My mind wanted to wonder as the reminisce of the thought I had made me want to fall into that trap.But before I could I heard Todoroki's rough deep voice ask.
"What were you thinking about before?"He asked and I stopped.
"I was...."I stopped as I felt heat rise on my face making me look down.
"Midoriya?"Todoroki asked as I saw him come closer and my heart skipped a beat.
"Um...we'll be late!"I suddenly said as I moved away, I looked up hoping my expression didn't show my bubbling emotions.
"Ah!"Todoroki stepped back before bringing his raised hand down before nodding.We walked to the locker room quietly and I regretted my embarrassing reaction.
"I-Um sorry if I'm making you worry Todoroki....I...I haven't gotten much sleep lately....that's it lack of sleep...so um....sorry..."I muttered the last part to myself and didn't dare look toward Todoroki, afraid to see an expression that would burn into my heart and crush me.Instead though I felt warmth kiss me as Todoroki put his hand on my head his fingers intertwined with my curls.
"You should take better care of yourself, Midoriya,"I heard his voice say in a still monotonous tone but his warmth coating me made me crave the affection.I wanted that touch.More than I could admit.But moments like this seldom stayed, and this was no exception.His hand left my curls and went back to his side.I felt a chill run through my spine at the loss of sensation.But shrugged it off pulling my face up to face the empty hall ahead.This wasn't anytime to think about something so unnecessary, because all I could do was think of the trials of training ahead.Because my sights had to be set on the bright future set for me, for me to be the #1 hero, that's what I had to do.That.In fact was my purpose.

Once we made it to the training grounds we saw everyone training in twos.Bakugo with Kirishima, and Uraraka with Tsuyu, and so on.We looked at each other before we heard a rough deep voice say.
"Your late,"I froze before looking at our tired homeroom teacher, Mr.Aizawa.His face screamed "I was waiting", making me look down, preparing to explain why we were tardy.
"Sorry sir, Midoriya was helping me with some last minute notes and we ended up staying in the classroom later then expected,"Todoroki said and I looked at him dumbfounded.
"Todoroki!"I quickly said about to rewrite his excuse that would put most of the blame on him instead of me.But then Aizawa was quick to answer.
"Just make sure this doesn't happen again, and since you two are the only other par you'll spar with each other, get to work,"He said and Todoroki just nodded as I looked at both of them dumbfounded.I sighed before looking straight at Todoroki who just looked away before glancing at me.
"Why'd you do that I-!"I started to say but he just walked off making me follow behind.
"There's no need to worry about me getting in trouble, besides we were only 5 minutes late so I won't get penalized to harshly,"He said but I still felt guilty for making him have any penalty in the first place.
"But still-!"I started but before I could continue Todoroki turned sharply.I stoped just as quickly.He quickly hit me bringing his hand to my head making me stumble back as the hit stunned me.
"Your so stubborn, just accept it, and if your still worked up then just help me next time,"He said as he stepped aside.I rubbed the small ache from my head but shook it off quickly.I sighed again but admitted defeat before we started our sparing match.We were told not to use our quirks and focus on hand to hand combat.I took my regular stance and Todoroki took a basic readying pose.I struck first, quickly punching him as the hit landed on his arm but the impact was minimal as he hit me on my shoulder which made me groan in discomfort.I quickly stepped back but my balance was uplifted making me inches away from the ground before Todoroki grabbed my wrist which stopped my fall before he twisted my body so that his knee was on my back and my hands trapped under his.I groaned before looking back at him.His face had a strange expression.I tried to read it but before I could get a meaning he got off of me and we started again.This time I tried making my movements more swifter and light trying to get behind him or out of his line of sight.Nothing seemed to work until I tried a trick that IIda taught me and I modified.I ran in an almost zig zag motion before swiftly kicking at Todoroki making contact before backing off and taking a great leap to get in the air before kicking him to the ground .The impact was harsh and I could tell Todoroki was surprised.Once I was upright I placed my hand on his back solidifying my victory.I heard a small noise come from Todoroki and tilted my head to see him smiling.
"You surprised me, Midoriya, I didn't know you could that,"He said as he chuckled.I blushed before backing up and helping him up.
"T-thanks,"
"I presume you learned that from Iida?"Todoroki asked and I nodded."That really packed a punch how did you-!"Before he could say anything an explosion rang out.We both looked toward the smoke, and I hoped that it was just Kacchan being himself and blowing things up but as I heard a harsh scream I knew it wasn't.I felt a surge of emotion before I charged to action.I heard Todoroki call out to me before hearing quick footsteps behind me.I glanced to see Todoroki following me and I couldn't help but crack a smile.We ran toward the smoke to see three of our classmates fighting a group of people.Villains.I looked around to see that Aizawa was not in close proximity.I looked at my classmates as they fought hurriedly but didn't get anywhere.
"Midoriya,"I heard Todoroki say and I nodded.We charged toward our classmates that were having trouble and fought the villains.I activated my quirk and  ran as the villain was about to hit our classmates with his quirk.I kicked him and he groaned at my impact.
"So this is the famous class 1-a!! Ah!And your Izuku Midoriya!!"The villian yelled as he grabbed my leg and flung me away.I quickly gathered my bearings before charging back in.The villain had some type of enhancement quirk.I charged at him again and this time tried to stay out of view."YOU HEROS REALLY ARE RESILIENT!!"The villain yelled as he charged at Todoroki making me modify my attack.Todorki saw the Villian charging and he shot his ice at him but then another villain was charging him his hand up and glowing like a beam of light.
"TODOROKI!!!!!"I yelled as I enhanced my power making me zoom to his side as I shielded him.The villain grabbed me with his glowing hand and my view was covered with light.Pain submerged itself into me.I screamed.A blood-curdling scream.Before everything went black.
