Chapter 21 🍂:: The day she lost her ability

It was nighttime and Jun just arrived back home after coming back from the hospital. He sits on his bed and his phone rings. "Hello?" He asked as he picked it up. "JUN! WHY DID YOU JUST LEAVE LIKE THAT?" Yerin scolded at him through the phone.

"Oh...um...sorry I had things to do." Jun lies. "Don't think you're off the hook that easily." She threatens him. "Wait what?" "Haha, I'm only joking. I'll let you pass. Next time when you visit bring canele." Yerin tells him. "Okay. I promise."

"Oh yeah, tell me about how the gala concert went. You didn't tell me about it today. I want to hear all about it. Got it?" Yerin asks. "Okay okay." "Well then I'll see you soon. Goodnight!" Yerin hangs up on him.

Yerin walks to the vending machine outside her room and gets a drink. She walks back to her room and falls on her hands with her leg in a 45 degree angle from the ground. "Ouch..." She groans in pain. She adjusts her feet now on the floor trying to move them. Eventually resorts to holding onto a nearby chair.

Yerin tries to stand, using the support from the chair. Though her legs wouldn't cooperate and keeps falling down. "What is this?" She asks herself. She turns back to glance at her foot. Trying to move it but can't. Trying again clutching both hands onto the chair. Trying to stand. Still unable to then letting go.

"Why...why isn't it moving?" Yerin asks as her voice becomes squeaky and tears start to roll down her eyes. Placing both her hands on the floor, trying to push herself up. "Please, stand up." She begs herself. Eventually giving up dropping both her hands down in defeat. Then grabbing onto her knee and thigh, rubbing it furiously.

"STAND UP!" She screams in agony, her voice echoes across the huge empty room. "YOU ARE MY LEGS, RIGHT?!" Yerin cries out furiously. Surprised, angry and upset at her current state. "STAND!"
