[ Chapter Two ]

I Promise I'm Not A Stalker

"Shit." River mumbled over and over again.

She might have stumbled out the door.

River quickly grabbed her money and ran as fast as she could to get food. She was hungry, late for school.

What?

She wanted to watch Doctor Who.

She got to Delmar's deli-grocery, and quickly paid for a sandwich. She looked to her left to see a boy with brown hair and was wearing a blue shirt. That's all she could see.

So, she found her way to the school.

How?

She kinda followed the boy.

She might have found a fingerprint from him and found out it was Peter Parker.

They stopped when Peter almost got run over, obviously, River made it look like she wasn't following him like a stalker.

"What's up, Penis Parker?"

Would now be a bad time to say that River memorized the majority of everyone's names and looks from the computers?

River was ready to punch Flash.

Peter sighed, River shrugged it off, walking to her locker.

She was beside Peter, yes, she might have hacked into the system so she could have her locker next to his. She had to keep an eye on him, so she figured being in the same classes and having the lockers right next to each other was a good solution.

River saw Ned holding a Palpatine lego figure on Peter's shoulder.

"No, I can't tonight. I've got the Stark-"

River just wanted to be back at the apartment she was staying at.

Peter turned around, furrowing his brows at the girl beside him. He never noticed her before, and that's when he realized that she was new. He was going to just keep his mouth shut, but something about her just seemed different.

"Hi." River looked to her left to see Peter and Ned.

"Hi." She replied, she didn't expect to have to talk to anyone.

"Okay, just don't sound like a stalker." She told herself mentally.

"Are you new?" Peter asked in a quiet tone. She nodded, "Yeah, today's my first day." He let out a sigh of relief.

"What's your name?"

"River Jack." She paused, "And, you're Peter Parker, and you are Ned Leeds." Peter looked at her like she was crazy.

"I promise I'm not a stalker."

"I just heard Flash say not your actual first name, and kinda put the pieces together." He didn't seem as tense as before.

After having to talk to both of them, they let her stay with them, I mean, it didn't matter to River, she had to keep an eye on Peter anyway, but still.

They walked down the hallway, and the three of them saw a really pretty girl, Liz Allan.

Peter seemed mesmerized by her, and River?

She played it cool, trying not to make it seem like she was a crazy person. But it was hard for her. Liz was just- yeah.

And now, her and Peter had to be in Physics class.

Peter: *in a trance because of Liz*
River: *actually tries not to look like a crazy person, even though she basically followed Peter*

River met Peter.

I have come up with a ship name for MJ and River...

Jay, because Jones and May. Yeah.
