Finally out from school

9 years later.

Cheryl or today called from her best friend Ruby, finished today finally their school. They write already their exams and the both runs out from school.
Ruby runs out with Pauline smiling and laughing out from the school.

"Aahhh finally free!"

Pauline screams. Ruby looks to Pauline smiling

"come let's throw the folders and the papers."

Pauline nods and they stands their rucksacks on the floor and they take the whole learning things and throws them in the air and both screams:

"FREEDOOOOM!"

and they laugh. Ruby smiles to her best friend and Pauline asks:

"Ruby...for that we must go to our little mountain. Because I want ask you something."

Ruby looks confused first but then she say:

"Oh I must first go to home because I must help something my mum. And then we can meet us there."

She smiles. Pauline nods

"Okay sure. Then see you later."

Then walks Pauline waving away and Ruby waves short to her too and walks back to her home.
At home she go in and walks first to Jolenes room. Ruby go everytime after school to the room from her deceased big sister to tell her the schoolday or other things.
Ruby sits on Jolenes bed and strokes with her hand over the blanket and looks then out from the window.

"Hey Jolene. Uhm...I finally write my exams and I'm so happy now."

She smiles

"and Pauline wants talk with me something...I don't know what."

She shrugs with her shoulders

"Sad that you can't experience that all here. I miss you."

Suddenly hears Ruby the scream from her mum

"Cheryl? Are you here?"

Ruby looks to the door and stands up from the bed and walks then out from the room

"Yes! I'm here."

Ruby walks then down to her mum and Catherine lies on the sofa. Since last days she don't feel well and that's why she lies on the sofa.
Catherine looks to her

"Hey honey. How was school?"

Ruby sits next to Catherine

"Yeah...it was good...I finally write the exams and today I meet Pauline in our mountain."

She smiles and lies her hand on the arm from her mum

"how are you mum?"

Catherine smiles because of Ruby's answer and says then:

"Oh I feel okay..I just rest a bit now."

Ruby nods and asks then:

"so with what should I help you now?"

Catherine sits up and strokes lovely over Ruby's hairs

"you can clean the kitchen and then you are finish."

She smiles. Ruby nods smiling and stands up and clean for her the kitchen.
Few hours later walk Ruby to the mountain where already Pauline is and waits for her

"Heyy Pauline I'm here!"

She smiles and sits next to her. Pauline smiles too begins then:

"Well I thought about something because we finally write the exams."

Ruby looks to her

"and what?"

Pauline giggles

"what do you think about to drive to Mexico? You drive and I sit with you here."

Ruby look surprised and laughs

"to Mexico? How do you come up with that?"

She laughs continue.
Pauline laughs too

"Listen...in Europe is every country broken because of the second world War. We can't do a vacation there."

Ruby sighs

"Yeah you are right."

She nods and Pauline comes close to her face and raises short her eyebrow

"and it's time to get to know a man."

Ruby laughs again

"Oh Pauline...we don't go to Mexico so that I get to know a man. We go there to chill and make vacation and rest before I will a superstar."

Pauline lies her hand on Ruby's

"we make a deal when you get to know a man."

She chuckles and lies her hand over her mouth

"I don't know which one but I do that."

She laughs continue.
Ruby shakes laughing her head

"if you mean."

Paulette looks to her surprised

"God Ruby you are 21 and you have still not a boyfriend. Its time now."

Ruby leans her elbow on her knee and lies her chin in her hand and laughs short

"Yeah yeah...I know..."

she looks back to Pauline

"so let's planing the trip!"

Ruby smiles to Pauline and they give each other a high five.

Few hours later both walking back to Ruby's home and Pauline says then:

"Okay we meet us tomorrow again back at our mountain."

Ruby smiles

"yes sure! Til tomorrow!"

Then she go to in and close the door

"Mum!"

and go to the livingroom

"Me and Pauline..."

then she see that her mum is sleeping at the couch and Ruby makes a blanket over her and looks to her for a while. Then she go up to her room...
