MAYA'S P.O.V-

"The nerve of this man Sam! I am so heartbroken"

"He really stayed with his brother? The entire week?" Sam questions astonished.

"Ooh my friend he did. He didn't even call to check if I am okay or need anything. It was as if I didn't exist. I thought living with him would make my life easier and I would see him more often but nothing has changed. He is still as far away and unavailable as he was back then when I used to stay home. What am I going to do?" I tilt my head up, pushing back the tears

"I think you should tell him how you feel Maya" Sam murmurs brushing my shoulder. I offer her a faint smile.

"Bad idea babes. He flipped when I tried to do that yesterday, it scared the hell out of me."

"What happened yesterday?" She questions. I look at her taking a deep breath. We are going to need something to drink for this one. Sam is already shocked at how Sidharth has been disregarding me, if she learns of what transpired yesterday then she would probably faint from shock. I didn't know Sidharth could be that cold. Well he doesn't smile a lot, no actually scratch that he doesn't smile at all. Or maybe he doesn't smile with me, I don't know but he always has this approachable face that makes easier for me to talk to him most of the time. Not yesterday though, he was spitting fire. The fury and rage in his eyes was disturbing. If I didn't know any better, I would say he was ready to murder someone. Maybe it was just a business deal gone wrong.

"Petty bring us another bottle of wine." I called out loudly.

"Girl are you trying to get us drunk?" Sam questions

"Oh you are going to wish you were drunk after I tell what I am about to tell you."

"Don't scare me! What happened?" I look at her trying to gather some courage to talk, a tear escapes my eye. I can see the pain in her eyes as she embraces me. Moving her hand in circular motion on my back, I take a deep breath and pull away with a vague smile that doesn't even reach my eyes. Petty comes in with a bottle of wine and places it on the table before scurrying away.

"So he stayed with his brother for the entire week, he came back yesterday, didn't even greet me and walked in through the dining room door and stormed upstairs. I was in the kitchen making coffee when I saw his car parked outside through the window. Soon as I saw his car, I ran to the door and found that he wasn't there. I asked the stupid maid and she told me he went straight upstairs and looked very angry.

I was wondering why, so I went upstairs and found him busy with his phone. He appeared to be making a call and whoever he was calling was not answering his calls. He got even more angry and tossed the phone across the room and it fell on the edge of the bed. I greeted him, already feeling uncomfortable about the whole scene. I smiled and asked him what the poor phone did but he gave me a murderous look before taking off his clothes and heading into the bathroom. I felt so small. He didn't even greet me back. I left wondering that what I did to make him so upset. I sat on the bed waiting for him to come out but then an idea came to my mind. I took off my clothes and went to the bathroom. When I walked in he was facing the wall. His head facing up as the water splash on his face. The moment I opened the shower door, he turned his face and looked at me. I though he would kiss me, claim me as his again but he didn't. I sob and Sam holds my hand.
