Ch. 2 "Memory"

Bucky POV

We were all sat in the conference room, waiting,

That's when Fury walked in, if it were possible I think smoke would be coming out of his ears,

"What's going on?" Tony asked

"This," Fury said lowering the screen it showed someone in a mask that covered their nose and mouth,

Their piercing blue eyes looked at the camera like they knew exactly where it was,

"The perpetrator stole Shield secrets, which includes the Winter solider and how to defeat each and everyone of you," Fury said

"Wow, didn't know you had that kind of information," Steve said not approving,

"We gathered that after the first attack," He said looking at Loki,

"For contingency," Fury said

"So in other words incase one of us turned to the other side," Nat said crossing her arms in anger,

"It was a mistake but we need to find this person and get it back, who knows what they could do with this information," Fury said

We all nodded,

Child Solider POV

I held the thumb drive in my hands, looking down at it, doing what a good solider does following orders, stealing intel,

I am faster than any solider, stronger, smarter, yet I feel like I'm missing something, something important,

But that can't be, I've worked for these people my whole life, at least that's what I've been told,

And yet why do I feel this hole like I'm missing a major part of me,

I stood on a roof top from across the building, they educated me on each and every one of the avengers,

I watched as they piled out of the building,

Except for those two,

One held a shield with a star in the middle of it, he had sandy blonde hair and blue eyes,

The other had dark hair and piercing blue eyes, he had a metal arm, suddenly I felt excruciating pain shot through my head,

I held my head with both hands falling to my knees,

Memory

"Jamie slow down!" A man with dark brown hair and piercing blue eyes yelled as he ran after the child that looked like me,

"It's not my fault your too slow James!" She giggled as she ran,

"Are you challenging your big brother?" He asked

"We both know that would be useless to do since I would win," she giggled

"Alright Angel face your on," James yelled with that they both ran down the street,

End Memory

I was gasping for air, sweat fell from my head,

I stood there in shock, That was a memory, if that was a memory does that mean-

I looked at both of the men again,

Everything they told me was a lie,

I picked up the thumb drive from the ground,

"Child soldier your location?" I heard in the ear piece,

I didn't respond,

"Child soldier location now!" He said

Jamie POV

"My name is Jamie..." I said in a dark voice

"And I'm done being your puppet," I said taking the ear piece out and crushing it in my fingers,

I stuffed the hard drive in my pocket,

I looked at the two men one last time,

"I need to figure out what is going on, and what happened, and how," I thought to myself,

And this time no one is getting in my way, I thought jumping off the roof,
