Ch. 13 "Panic"

                                         Jamie POV 

so here I am standing in front of everyone as Sam snitched, 

they were all looking at me weird, 

"I don't get what the big deal is?" I mumbled 

"Jamie you took down four armed men... with guns!" Sam said 

"Technically it was five if you count the guy who got hit with a brick," I mumbled 

They all looked at Sam, 

"Yeah that happened too," Sam said 

"The point is your just a child," Steve said 

"I know weird didn't think adult men could fall to the ground so fast?" I said rubbing the back of my neck,

Tony, Sam and Clint all hit their face with the palm of their hand, 

"That's not-" James said but then shook his head, 

"The point is how the hell did you do that?" James said 

I shrugged, 

"I don't know just felt natural, I said 

They all looked at each other concerned, 

"Anyway," I said with my arms behind my back, 

"Who's hungry?" I said 

"Kid I swear you eat more than speedy over there," Tony said pointing at Pietro, 

I walked past everyone only to be lifted in the air from behind, 

I was thrown over James's shoulder like a sac of potatoes, 

"Hey! James cut it out!" I said as I squirmed, 

"Don't think so Angel face," James said 

"Were going to get to the bottom of this," Steve said 

"Bottom of what?" I said as I put my elbow on James shoulder and my chin in the palm of my hand, 

"How you were about to take out five armed men, and why were they after you exactly?" James said 

Can't exactly answer that without getting in a world of trouble,

I didn't say anything, 

"Jamie?" Steve said 

"Umm, what?" I asked 

"Why were they after you?" Steve asked 

I shrugged,

So Steve was giving me a look, 

So James and Steve know when I am lying because, well because they have known me since the day I was born, 

I mean my big brother and his best friend, how could they no know when I'm lying, I'm sure they know me better than I know myself, I thought 

James set me down, they were both looking at me, 

Oh boy, they so know that I'm lying, what do I do, what do I do? 

Don't panic, remain calm, you are in control, 

"Jamie?" James said 

"Okay, Okay look it wasn't my fault  I didn't know at the time okay and and," I said talking probably fast than Pietro runs, 

"Jamie," James  said 

But I kept talking faster than anyone even me could understand, 

"Jamie!" James yelled

"What!?" I yelled 

"Calm down," He said 

"Breathe," Steve said 

I did, 

"Good, now that your calm, maybe you could explain a little slower and so that we can actually understand you," James said 

I gulped but I nodded, 

Well here goes nothing, so either, they are going to be so mad that they turn more red than Tony's suit, 

Or maybe they will understand, 

I looked at them,
