Part 43: Forgiveness

The Arthur Castle that stood in front of Logan looked different, feral almost. His hair was long and unkempt, his beard being nearly three times as long as it used to be. His eyes were wild, filled with fury and hatred. Logan tried approaching the man before he was cut off by his words.

"Who the fuck is Arthur?" The man mumbled out before rushing towards Logan. On instinct the boy ducked as his brother swung wildly at him, Arthur's claws scrapping on the wall.

"A-Arthur??" Was all Logan could sputter out at the sight of his long dead brother. Arthur swung again, this time grazing the mans side, ripping the shirt he was wearing. Logan's hand shot to his side, putting pressure on the wound before dodging the man once again.

Logan grunted as he put his own claws up, stoping his older brothers from stabbing into him. Logan stared into Arthur's eyes, seeing a great conflict in his older brothers eyes.  Arthur pulled away, swinging low and slicing Logan's leg open causing blood to begin to pour from his wound. He hissed in pain before Arthur quickly kicked him in the chest, sending his body smashing through the window and tumbling off of the roof.

Logan felt his leg snap as he landed on the ground, looking as Arthur looked down at him, climbing from the window. The sound of a person approaching with ODM gear pulled Logan's gaze away from his oncoming attacker. He saw Levi quickly approaching through the air, looking at his son with great confusion.

"Don't hurt him!! He doesn't know where he is!" Logan yelled causing Levi to slightly falter, looking over at the person attacking his son. Levi quickly landed in-between the two brothers, staring at his lover. Pain, confusion and anger filled his face as he looked at Arthur.

The man swung wildly at the short man which he easily dodged, unsheathing his sword and slicing his sword at the man. Arthur brought his arm up to block the sword, letting the blade glide through his wrist.

Arthur shrugged the lost hand off as he thrusted his hand towards Levi. The man looked at his old flames claws, trying his best to dodge it. But to his surprise, a body bumped him out of the way, Arthur's claws plunging into Logan's stomach.

The blonde stared into his brothers hazel brown eyes, the anger and hatred dissipating as Logan coughed, blood pouring from his mouth.

Arthur looked down at the blood splattering onto his hand before taking a shaky breath.

"Lo-?" Arthur mumbled, his breath full of terror at his actions. He quickly pulled the claws out of his brothers stomach, Logan still standing as he held onto Arthur's shoulder.

"It's okay... it's okay." Logan spoke, his voice weak as blood poured from his many different wounds.

"S-shor-tstuff?" Arthur breathed out, more fear filling his now unclouded eyes as they traveled past the boy in front of him, focusing on the captain as he took deep breaths, looking in confusion and shock at the man.

"Baby brother?" Arthur asked out, seemingly finally realizing where he was. He looked down at the boys wounds as regret and pain filled his eyes.

"Cowboy?" Levi mumbled, seemingly too shocked to do anything. He could barley breathe, let alone move. Arthur slightly nodded as he looked at his shaking hands, Logan's blood covering his forearm.

"Oh god... W-What'd I do?" Arthur asked into the night as more people approached, Jean and Connie came rushing towards the bleeding boy.

"Holy shit, Cap. Are you okay? Connie!" Jean exclaimed as he rushed one of his best friends, Connie standing in between Logan and Arthur.

"I'm f-ine." Logan stuttered out as he leaned on Jean who held him up as he stared at his long lost brother who was still seemingly in shock.

"Shit, you're bleeding a lot, even for you..." Jean spoke causing Connie to turn around, spotting all of the blood falling onto the ground. He quickly pulled his shirt off, using it to put pressure on his most damaging wound.
