Issac stood in the hallway of the dorms as he waited for his boyfriend. He'd told him that he had something to show him, but not what it was. He didn't know how the boy would react to seeing the very thing he swore to destroy,

"Okay, let's go see what you just had to show me." Reiner mumbled as he walked from his room, Issac gave the man a small smile before nodding, pushing off of the wall he was leaning on.

"Come on then, blonde," Issac spoke, slightly teasing his boyfriend to keep his own stress down. The two walked through the intermittent zone that was still in shambles from the attack, finally arriving at the doctor's home.

"Issac- I've told you I'm fine. I don't... I don't need to talk to anyone." Reiner spoke, remembering the many times his boyfriend tried to get him to open up to someone.

"Shut it, Braun," Issac spoke as he looked around, making sure none of the Marley military had been following the two. Ever since most of the commanders had died, Commander Magath had taken control of the military. He trusted Reiner and Issac, but Issac just needed to be sure.

"Rien, promise me something?" Issac asked as he opened the door to the home.

"What?" Reiner asked, rather bluntly. Issac could sense the nerves in the boys voice, after the attack he had been anxious, then Gabi and Falco caught a ride on their airship sending Reiner into intense worry.

"Don't freak out." Issac spoke as he led him into the home, taking off his shoes and telling his boyfriend to do the same.

"Doc! You here?" Issac shouted out, a scramble ensuing in the room next to him, the doctor coming out quickly. His shirt had been covered in blood while his forehead was covered in sweat.

"Mr.Hoover, Mr.Braun." The doctor spoke, looking at Issac with confused eyes as to why Reiner had been here.

"It's okay, doc. It's time he sees anyways." Issac mumbled causing the doctor to look to Reiner with conflicted eyes. The man finally gave in, sighing as he nodded.

"Right this way." The doctor said, turning around and opening the door to the room again, this time leaving it open. Reiner looked to Issac who nodded, telling him to go ahead.

Reiner followed the doctor, his hands inter-wrapped in each other, fidgeting with them to try to keep his nerves at bay.

The room was a mess, different medical tools all over the place with blood covering them. They all were scattered, surrounding a bed in the middle of the room. Reiner took a step forwards as he looked at the person on the table. He was confused, why had they been keeping this person so hidden? Why not take them to a real hospital. The mans breath hitched when he finally saw the others face. His eyes widened in recognition, much like they had when he'd seen Eren in the cellar a few days ago.

Reiner scanned the boys shirtless body, seeing different scar tissue graphed onto his body. Memories of the different adventures they had while he was still in the walls flashed through Reiner's mind before they landed on the last one. The memory of Zeke killing Logan's brother, the screams of absolute horror and pain coming from his throat. In all honesty, those same screams haunted him when he had sleepless nights.

"Logan?" Reiner muttered, taking a step back. His back bumped into his boyfriends chest, the tall boy leaning over to comfort Reiner.

"H-Hello?" A new voice spoke up, shocking most everyone in the room. The doctor froze as he was grabbing another utensils to dig the bullets from Logan's body.

The blonde boy's eyes fluttered open, staring at the ceiling above him. Issac's hand slowly inched down towards his chain, just in case. Logan's head tilted towards the sound, his eyes still adjusting to the light that was now coming into them once more. His eyes locked onto Issac, remembering the man from the attack. His eyes then traveled to his left, finding a face he hadn't seen in years.
