When I hear the wind flow through your trees

A sense of calmness comes over me

When I see the water weave through your ground

I feel warm all around

When I feel your leaves underneath my feet

I get a feeling so bittersweet

When I smell your pine, from high in the sky

You smell so divine, like you could sprout wings and fly

When I taste your air as it hits my face

You seem so fair, almost like grace

Though we must part, I am pleased to say

We will be together everyday

In our hearts we may find

We are intertwined

I will miss your pine

I will miss your wind

I will miss the way you helped me unwind

Many day-to-day tasks on my plate

Throughout my life, you sent them flying away

With love in our hearts and a skip in our feet

I know you are someone that nothing can beat

And whilst I sing of your water

And dream of your trees

I hope you won't forget me

I will miss you so

But I have to go

Just before I leave

Promise me one thing

Until the end of time,

Will you promise to stay mine?
