This takes place over different times lol, it goes Tubbo, Tommy, then Karl/Sapnap's thing cause yeah 👍

The brunette collapses onto the wood floors with a groan. As much as he loves the worlds he travels to, for the most part, it's exhausting Especially with The Inbetween that has been taking up his mind 24/7.

Karl lazily pulls his arm over his face, getting comfortable while squinting a purple and green swirled watch.

4:12am

He sighs, flopping his arm backwards and onto the hard wood.

"I'll change later" he thinks, closing his eyes with a satisfied sigh.

Sapnap's POV:

I hang my bow on the wall next to the door with a tired smile before turning around, practically jumping out of my clothes by Karl laying on the floor by his library, something we're forbidden to go in.

"Karl?" I whisper, walking to him quietly. He's wearing a bright purple and green jacket with a swirl, a similar shirt underneath it. I narrow my eyes at him strangely, we haven't seen him for a couple days and he comes back wearing something different. I bend down, about to shake him before my eyes land on goggles placed on his hair.

"Karl?" I whisper again, eyes traveling to his watch that is spinning quickly before they trail to a book he's holding on his chest. Its purple with a green swirl, like his attire. I frown, about to take the book from him before Karl opens his eyes slightly, jumping up when he sees me.

"What're you doing?" He asks loudly, scrambling up.

"I was trying to wake you- you fell asleep here." He squints at me, about to open his book before his face grows pale and he shakes his head.

"I-I'm sorry, I just fell- sorry." He says quickly, looking anywhere but my eyes.

"Hey, hey, hey, Karl? Are you okay?" He nods stiffly before walking up the stairs quickly, practically running away from me.

I sigh, following behind him shortly.

Tubbo POV:

I glance at Ranboo while cutting bamboo for scaffolding. He's just humming a song. I look back to the crafting table with a sigh.

"Ranboo, what's going on with you and Lia?" I ask, finally asking what's been on my mind since earlier.

He stops his humming and looks to me, confused.

"What do you mean?" His tone laces with pure confusion making me even more confused.

"Every time you saw her today you would just ignore her completely, and you'd get a weird look in your eyes. I honestly thought you guys got in an argument, you looked like you wanted to kill her." I chuckle slightly at the ending. Lia would be the last person Ranboo would harm.

"Oh." Ranboo says shortly. He keeps working on the Bee n' Boo Motel with a frown on his face.

"I don't think we got in an argument today, I didn't see her at all." He shrugs. I pick up my scaffolding, stopping once the words leave his mouth.

"Ranboo, we watched her get in a fight with Quackity, and you passed her on your way to the Motel." I say, tilting my head slightly.

"What?" He says, barely audible.

"Yeah..."

"I'm sure- I'm sure I just forgot, heh, y'know, my memory and it's lousiness, pfft." He says in a joking manner. I shrug off the shakiness in his voice and laugh, continuing to work together.

Tommy's POV:

I stare at Dream, eating my potato with a blank face. He sighs before meeting my eye across the room, so I quickly look away.

"What Tommy?" He asks with a bored voice.

I look down at my plain potato and shrug.

"You've gotta get over my face, you saw it your first time you-"

"Not that dickhead, I get your ego is bigger than your time in prison but you've gotta let that go." I snap, sneering at his face. He rolls his eyes and look down at his lap, playing with the black belt on his orange jumpsuit.

"Who were you talking to last night?" I ask, slouching against the black wall.

He snaps his head up to me with wide eyes, "W-what? You heard that? What did you hear of- what?" He asks, fear heard in his voice.

I smirk of the knowledge that he wants, and I barely have, and straighten my back. "Oh, just that you were talking about Lia."

To be honest, I only heard her name and that's it, but Dream being his dumb self might spill something.

His eyes widen again and he stutters over his words, "I- I was just talking to- no one, well I was just- it's kind of-"

I lean in with wide eyes and small smile on my face, putting my chin in my palms.

"Oh please tell, now I'm intrigued." I say with a teasing tone.

"Shut up Tommy." He scoffs, looking at the lava to my left. I tense up and lean back, coughing.

A couple minutes go by with us being silent, Dream admiring the lava and me looking anywhere but at it.

"So why were you talking about Lia? To yourself I'm guessing." I ask, quieter.

He clenches his jaw and takes a deep breath, "I was just-" he thinks for a second before unclenching his jaw with a soft sigh.

"Sam and I were talking, he told me Lia hurt herself." My eyes widen and I look at him again.

"What? How? When? Who did-"

"Tommy, I don't know." He sighs again, rubbing the bridge of his nose. He sighs a lot.

"I don't know when, though I have a suspicion it was a couple nights ago, and she hurt herself somehow, infected by something. I don't think anyone did anything to her." He pinches his finger as he talks, voice lowering at the end.

"Oh." I reply shortly. Infected by what? The egg? She isn't dumb enough to touch it, I hope not. Why would anyone hurt her? What could she have done to someone so bad they would hurt her? Why did Sam tell Dream and not me?

"Listen Tommy, I doubt anything too bad happened to her. And at least you can't blame me-" he cuts himself off at the end and pales slightly.

"Why did you stop? Did you do something?! Dream why are you-" I ask quickly, a million overthought thoughts rushing to my head.

"No no no, I- no, nothing had anything to- no Tommy." He stutters again, not helping his case. I sink into my knees and inch further against the wall, watching him closely across from me.

"Right." I mumble, putting my chin on top of my knees.
