Daddy Issues - The Neighborhood
It's U - Cavetown

Flashback:

Phil sneaks after Wilbur, leaving the fighting to continue. Me, with no weapon, decides to follow my father figure in hopes of finding Wilbur. He mines at a tunnel and sneaks through it, me right behind. He jumps slightly at my appearance but smiles anyways. I put a finger to my lips to indicate to be quiet as we walk up to a room with words etched across the rock on the wall. There's nothing but a grey button and Wilbur standing in front of it. This must be the button.

"What are you doing?" I ask. His body snaps to us.

"Do you know what this button is?" He asks.

I nod and Phil steps infront of me a bit, "Uh huh. I do."

"Have you heard... the song. On the walls? Before? Have you heard the song? I was just saying, I made this big point, it was poignant, and it's um... There was a special place where men could go, but it's not there anymore y'know? It's not-" he cuts himself off with a sigh.

"It is there. You've just- you've won it back Wil!" Phil tries.

"Wilbur. Wil..." I shake my head in confusion. His gaze lands on me.

"You'll always be the Ariadne, won't you, Lia." My eyebrows furrow in confusion. "Always trying her best to save people." He throws his hands up in the air to emphasize. "Disobeying her own father for a country. For Theseus. To help and go with him. Leaving her father behind..." Phil's stare becomes stern, making me even more confused. "Didn't you give him the string? Or the thread, or-" he sighs, "One day you'll get it. One day you won't have any more brothers or brother 'figures' to look up to. They will all be gone, the bad guys. Once again, disobeying your father."

New Flashback:

"Where are you going, Lia?" Phil asks.

"Um, I'm leaving. I know you gave permission to Wilbur and Tommy to start their new country, but I already agreed to Wil and I don't want to let him down." I shuffle my feet in embarrassment.

"You know that's too dangerous. I don't like when you hang out with Dream, but I still let you. This crosses the line. I let the boys do it because I know they will give up and crawl back here but you don't give up so easily. It's dangerous." Phil shakes his head. I groan.

"Phiiil. Thanks for letting me stay here for the summer and all, but you aren't my dad. You don't control me, so you can't tell me whether or not I'm staying. I'm really sorry, Phil." I talk over him as he says words of disappointment, slowly turning into yells. I break out into a run, leaving the house that Phil has taken care of me and Tommy in for the past summer. Tears fall down my face as I run to Wilbur and Tommy.

New Flashback:

"Ranboo." I snap him out of his thoughts. He was trying to remember something again, but I know he won't so I have to stop him before it drives him insane. He sighs and nods.

"Sorry." I smile slightly and look back around the woods that I found him in. All I wanted to do was go exploring, clear my head from the vicious war thoughts my brain has ghosted over. Instead, I found my old best friend.

"New person?" A new voice calls out. I turn and smile at Tommy and Tubbo.

"Yep. You guys remember Ranboo?" I ask. They stay quiet and give me weird faces that I roll my eyes at.
