" Where the hell have you been?" Delilah asks him while walking towards him with a smile on her face.
" Hell" He replies keeping the smile on his face.
" Well that explains it." Delilah says before bringing him into a hug which he gladly returns.
After about a minute of them hugging they finally pull away happy to see each other for the first time in almost 17 years.
"I missed you shit head" Delilah said with the smile still on her face.
" I missed you too num nut" Five told her with a genuine smile on his face.
" So when did you get back?" Delilah asked with her british accent.
" Not that long ago. Also whats up with the accent?"
"Oh, this? Well, i lived in London for quite a bit before i came here and i guess i just caught on."
"Well it sounds nice"
"Why thank you!"
"So where did you really go?" Delilah asked with interest of this place he called "hell".
" The future. It's shit by the way." He said to the girl in front of him.
"I knew it!" The girl called out making them both laugh.
"How did you get back?" The girl asks again.
"In the end I had to project my consciousness forward into a suspended quantum state version of myself that exists across every possible instance of time" Five told her proud of him self.
"Huh, that makes sense" Delilah says in realization of what her friend/siblings was saying.
" Yea well our dumb witted siblings didn't understand, as usual" Five says with a tint of sarcasm.
"Of course they didn't. I didn't expect them too with the amount of brain cells they have." Delilah says with sarcasm.
They both laugh a bit but then it starts to die down. The silence was bearable but still, it was silence.
"How long were you there?" Delilah asks softly just above a whisper, but can still be heard.
"Fourty-five years. Give or take." Five responded looking down, taking interest of the floor while she was processing the information that was just told to her.
"Wait, so your 58- i mean your consciousness is 58 and clearly your body is about 13-14?" Delilah said putting the pieces together.
"Yep". "Im sorry that i left" Five said sounding sad
" Don't be. You were just trying to prove dad wrong" Delilah said trying to ease him.
" I know but you had to deal with me gone and then Ben's death" When five said that the girl started to feel her eyes water.
She tried to forget Ben's death for a very long time. She always though that it was her fault for his death. She was depressed for sometime because of it. She always locked herself in her room, didn't eat, and never really did anything. But then she decided to move on and move forward in her life and started to act.
"It's fine and Ben's death was my fault" Delilah said looking off to the side avoiding his eyes.
"What happened?" Five asked wondering what the girl was talking about.
"I don't wanna talk about it" Delilah said not trying to start crying.
Her and ben was always close so it was hard for her to loose him.
