chapter 12

The following day

On the chilly morning, Elsa had just dropped off Jamie at his new school. Jamie's teacher, a kind-hearted and compassionate woman, could detect Jamie's hesitation and reluctance to part from his mother.

Elsa embraces Jamie tightly before also reluctantly stepping away from her son. With a warm smile, she reassures him, "I promise, you can choose any delicious dessert you want."

Jamie considered it a fantastic promise. He begins to bounce up and down, nodding eagerly. Eventually, he ceases jumping and waves goodbye to his mum before dashing off toward his new classroom.

As Elsa pulls up in front of Winter's new high school, Winter immediately protests, "Absolutely not, don't even consider unbuckling that seatbelt and accompanying me. It's bad enough having to go to this horror show they call high school. This high school is already enough of a nightmare without adding my mom into the mix. I'm not going to walk in there with her like some kind of weirdo!"

Elsa just shakes her head and sigh.

'the first day of school, how will you even know where to go and my daughter is not a weirdo!' Elsa said.

" Mom, I'm not little anymore and plus I'm old enough to figure out things. Please just stay in the car and go do something please" winter ask

Elsa look winter and said "you're right, you are nearly an adult. But I'm just scared because you're growing up so fast. Righto, try to have a good day at school and rang me if anything happens."

Winter smiles at her mother and pulls her into a tight hug. After a few minutes, they pull away from each other. Winter jumps out of the car and closes the car door.

Elsa starts up her car and looks towards her daughter who was already was out of sight. Elsa just felt like crying because she just
knows that both her child are hurting mostly Winter. But Elsa knew underneath all the attitude and moods that Winter just scares. She trying to put on a tough face for her younger brother and maybe a little bit with everything that has happen past few months.

Elsa just wanted to wrap her arms around her children and take away the heartache.

Suddenly out of nowhere, the driver's door was thrown open and which had made Elsa sat up with a jolt...

" Elsa, what happened? are you hurt? where are the kids?" he said as he ran his hands over her lightly to make sure she was hurt or injured.  Elsa felt like she couldn't speak and she just she shakes her head no. She tries to catch her breath, but the tear just kept on coming.

she was pulled into a tight hug and she felt that comfort. That she hasn't felt for the last two months and started to wipe the tears away.
