I smiled at the flashback, remembering when my ex-husband had expressed his feelings for me after a similar moment.Then, Jamie's voice interrupted my thoughts, prompting me to leave the shed behind and head inside the house where Jamie was waiting.
In his new bedroom, Jamie was already unpacking, except for his bed, which still needed setting up before bedtime.
"Hey, Jamie," I greeted him.
Looking up, he asked, "When are we going to eat?"
Glancing at the time on my iPhone 6s, I saw that it was around 6:00 pm. Perhaps it was time to head out for a meal. "Yeah, why don't you gather your sister, and we'll go out to grab something delicious to eat?" I suggested. Jamie eagerly agreed and hurried off to find Winter.
Just then, my phone chimed with a message from Jack. I quickly entered my password to read it, revealing:
Hey Snowflake,
I'll likely be arriving tomorrow to help out and see the kids. Just wrapping up some work here. Tell the kids I love them dearly. See you tomorrow, Snowflake.
After finishing reading the message from her ex-husband, she replied:
Sure, I'll let the kids know you're coming tomorrow, and they love you too. Bye, Frosty.
She turn the screen off and yell out to Jamie and winter " can you guys come down here please" l see Jamie came running down the stair while winter is just walking.
Jamie nodded in agreement and replied, "Yes, mommy."
"I just got a text from your dad. He'll be here tomorrow and he says he loves you both very much," I informed them. Winter hugged me tightly, whispering, "Thanks, Mum. Love you lots." I hugged her back, whispering, "You're welcome, and I love you too."
After our hug, we headed back to the car to grab some food.

Elsa, Winter, and Jamie exited the car. Elsa unlocked the front door, and they all entered the house. After showering, they changed into their pajamas. They gathered in the living room to watch TV, and halfway through, Jamie dozed off. Elsa lifted her son and carried him to his bedroom, tucking him in and kissing his forehead before turning off the light.
Next, Elsa checked on Winter in her room, finding her daughter already asleep but uncovered. Elsa approached, gently pulling the blankets over Winter's shoulders and kissing her cheek. She then switched off the light and headed to her own bedroom. Climbing into bed, she turned off the light and drifted off to sleep.
